Abstract: A handle retaining structure comprises a handle with a first retaining portion, a fastening seat with a first carrying seat for receiving the first retaining portion, a locating device joined with the fastening seat and composed of a joining portion, a second retaining portion, and an adjustment portion. The joining portion has a second carrying seat for receiving the first retaining portion. The second retaining portion and the first retaining portion are enabled by the adjustment portion to engage or disengage with each other.

Abstract: A scooter comprises a deformable footboard, a handlebar frame fastened with the front end of the footboard, a front wheel pivoted to the bottom end of the handlebar frame, a rear wheel pivoted to the rear end of the footboard, and a one-way driving mechanism disposed at a pivoting portion of the rear wheel and the rear end of the footboard to cause the rear wheel to turn unidirectionally at the time when the footboard is caused by an external force to deform.

Abstract: A scooter has a braking structure comprising a support frame, an application portion, and two brake shoes. The support frame has two support arms which are located at two sides of the rear wheel of the scooter. The brake shoes are fastened with the support arms. As the application portion is exerted on by an external force, the support frame is forced to move downward, thereby causing the brake shoes to come in contact with the rear wheel.

Abstract: A game racket is provided in the grip portion thereof with a sensor for detecting changes in body characteristic of a person engaging in exercise by using the game racket. The changes in body characteristic of the person are detected in the form of electronic signals, which are converted by the sensor into data. The data are exhibited by a display which is disposed in a predetermined position of the game racket. On the basis of the data, an exerciser may adjust the pace of the exercise in which the exerciser is engaged.

Abstract: A garment bag can selectively neatly retain either men's or women's clothing. The garment bag includes a garment receiving compartment defined by front and rear panels which are interconnected by respective side panels. A closable opening in the front panel permits access to the compartment. The compartment also includes a selectively closable bottom opening. Connected to the edges defining the bottom opening is a pocket which is movable between a first position in which it received within the compartment and second position in which it extends outward from the bottom opening to increase the effective length of the compartment.

Abstract: By this invention there is provided an apparatus for dispensing a liquid eyewash. The apparatus is mounted on a wall and is intended to flush out foreign matter from a person's eyes in an emergency or other situation. The apparatus comprises a valve operable to release liquid solution into a spray means and the valve is operated by control means after a user correctly positions their head in relation to a guide means adjacent the spray means which results in actuation of the valve and subsequent release of a jet of the liquid via the spray means into the user's eyes.
