  • Publication number: 20130062872
Abstract: It is a common problem for the typical consumer that is not highly educated or experienced in pairing wine with food, to determine what food recipe would be best suited to combine with a given bottle of wine. This invention offers the consumer a significant reduction in effort, time and risk by providing a food recipe affixed to the wine bottle. The food recipe affixed to the bottle has been selected based on its complimentary flavor and aroma to the wine, creating an attractive pairing of food and wine for the consumer. When selecting the bottle of wine, the consumer has an immediate recommendation for a food recipe to pair with the wine without requiring the consumer to further research such recommendations, thereby saving the consumer time and effort, while reducing their risk in making poor pairing decisions.

  • Patent number: 7614278
Abstract: A blast movement monitor for measuring the movement of material within a body of material as a result of a blasting operation, the monitor including: a housing having an interior chamber defining an inner surface; and an internal communication device that is received immediately within the interior chamber of the housing and which is adapted to transmit a signal to an external communication device and/or to detect a signal transmitted by the external communication device; wherein the internal communication device includes a body portion and opposing end portions, the end portions being configured such that they are complementary with the inner surface of the interior chamber and the internal communication device being biased to facilitate self-righting of the internal communication device to a desired orientation within the interior chamber independent of the orientation of the monitor.

  • Patent number: 4495433
Abstract: A shaker for performing both absolute and comparison accelerometer calibration. A reference accelerometer is mounted within or attached to a shaker head and calibrated with the shaker head by an absolute method. The shaker, thus calibrated absolutely, becomes a portable device for performing comparison calibrations on other accelerators which can be mounted on its shaker head.
