  • Publication number: 20190116457
Abstract: A system and method for 3-Dimensional location of a mobile device in which the mobile device is enhanced with an emulation of a wireless communications beacon, in addition to global positioning system (GPS) location capabilities. To pinpoint the location of the mobile device within the general location, a plurality of devices within a wireless communication range of the mobile device ping each other with the emulated wireless communications beacon. The plurality of mobile devices determined within the wireless communication range can send information to one another in order to supply for example their own unprecise GPS coordinates, the relative distance to any mobile device that responded to the virtual beacon ping of the mobile device and a mobile device identification or alias. The information received at each mobile device can be provided from each mobile device to a central location.

  • Publication number: 20190027000
Abstract: An alert notification system to automatically receive, store and play alerts. The alerts can be generated by a user. For example, the alerts can be generated by a public emergency system or a corporate system. An introductory tone can be generated by the system to advise that an alert message has been received. The alerts can be generated by a user. For example, the alerts can be generated by a public emergency system or a corporate system. An introductory tone can be generated by the system to advise that an alert message has been received. After the introductory tone is played, an audible alert message can be played in real time. The received alert message can be played over again one or more times. The system can include an interactive user display. The interactive display can include a screen to display actions which can be taken by the user.

  • Publication number: 20170215516
Abstract: The present invention is directed to an adjustable footwear system to provide varying degrees of tightness in different areas of the footwear before and after the footwear is received on the foot. The footwear is, in its initial form, tightest on the inner cavity with an upper comprised of one or more elastic materials. An extensor system is activated to create a rigid infra-structure to open a cavity of the footwear between the upper and an insole. A decrease of pressure in the extensor system decreases the cavity volume and allows for the elastic upper to apply pressure to the foot.

  • Patent number: 9479346
Abstract: The present invention related to a method for recording a mobile phone call and mobile phone recording system for recording audio from mobile phone calls. An external call is established with the mobile phone. A connection is made between the wireless phone and an audio capture and broadcast device, such as a Bluetooth device. The call recorder application can instruct the Bluetooth device to forward copies of transmit and receive audio back to the call recording application. The internal call can be tagged with an identification. Thereafter, the audio, and data such as SMS and MMS, can be forwarded to a third party database for storage or stored locally for the end user to play back on the phone or transfer to an external device using USB, wireless, or similar data connection.

  • Patent number: 9192890
Abstract: An integrated sorbent injection, heat recovery, and flue gas desulfurization system is disclosed. A dry sorbent is injected into the flue gas upstream of the air heater. This reduces the acid dew point temperature, permitting additional heat energy to be captured when the flue gas passes through the air heater. The flue gas then passes through a desulfurization unit and through a baghouse, where solids are captured. The capture of additional heat energy permits the overall boiler efficiency to be increased while safely operating at a lower flue gas temperature. The integrated system consumes no greater quantity of sorbent than conventional methods but provides the benefit of improved plant heat rate.

  • Publication number: 20150256964
Abstract: The present invention is a system and method for providing a virtual Bluetooth device on an existing hardware device, such as a mobile phone. The virtual Bluetooth device appears at the interface of the hardware device as if an external physical Bluetooth device is connected. The virtual Bluetooth device can communicate with the hardware device's existing audio interfaces, such as a speaker and microphone, to capture and transmit audio and broadcast the received audio, just as an actual, physical Bluetooth headset would use its own speaker and microphone. The Bluetooth virtual device can also collect and store data that is transmitted and received from the virtual Bluetooth device.

  • Publication number: 20150024655
Abstract: The present invention relates to an entertainment device for enhancing entertainment at sporting events. The device is formed of a sleeve having an opening at one end. The sleeve can be received over a hand of the user. A second sleeve can be placed over the other hand of the user. The user can clap the one or two sleeves together to make a noise effect. The entertainment device enhances the volume of clapping. Alternatively, the user can wave the entertainment device to create a visual effect. The sleeve can have a substantially flat surface to provide a surface for indicia. For example, the indicia can include marketing indicia or sports team related indicia. • Patent number: 8828340
Abstract: Methods of reducing emissions levels during steady-state conditions are disclosed for use with a dry scrubber desulfurization system. A dry calcium hydroxide powder is injected into the gas flowpath and watered in the spray dryer absorber. The resulting slurry is then deposited on the filter bags in the baghouse. This can be done at lower temperatures than the spray dryer absorber would otherwise be operable, enabling desulfurization to occur earlier in the combustion process, particularly during startup of a cold boiler at ambient temperature. The operation of the boiler can also be backed up, made up, trimmed, or augmented depending on various operating scenarios.

  • Patent number: 8821823
Abstract: Methods of reducing emissions levels during upset periods such as startup are disclosed for use with a dry scrubber desulfurization system. A dry calcium hydroxide powder is injected into the gas flowpath and hydrated in the spray dryer absorber. The resulting hydrated powder is then deposited on the filter bags in the baghouse. This can be done at lower temperatures than the spray dryer absorber would otherwise be operable, enabling desulfurization to occur earlier in the combustion process, such as during startup of a cold combustion system at ambient temperature. • Publication number: 20140051400
Abstract: The present invention includes a method and system of gaining access to an audio stream of a mobile phone. An audio stream detour module is inserted in native libraries on the operating system of the mobile phone. The audio stream detour module creates a new route for audio streams of the mobile phone from the microphone or speaker to a point of access. In one embodiment, a call recording module accesses the audio stream from the point of access in order to record the audio stream during a call.
