Abstract: A foldable utility cart (10) includes a pair of spaced, parallel frame members (22). A collar (50) is disposed about each of the frame members (22) and is slidable therealong. A pair of front legs (40) and a pair of rear legs (46) are pivotally connected to the collars (50). The front and rear legs (40, 46) each support a wheel (44, 48). The collars (50) can be moved from a raised position where the legs (40, 46) and wheels (44, 48) are extended to support the cart (10) for movement on the ground. The cart (10) includes a collapsible basket (16) that is supported by a movable basket carrier assembly (18). The basket carrier assembly (18) includes toothed racks (110) that are connected to channel members (24) for movement therealong. The racks (110) are driven by pinious (132) which in turn are driven by a pulley (134) and drive belt (146) arrangement.

Abstract: A pillbox that can be used with a portable electronic device (“PED”) such as a cellular telephone or personal digital assistant includes a generally cubic body portion that is attached to one end of a PED. The body portion defines a compartment within which medication can be placed. Preferably, an extension projects from one wall of the body portion and the extension is connected to the PED. The body portion preferably conforms generally to the contour of the PED. A door is connected to the body portion to permit selective access to the compartment. Other embodiments of the invention include a holster within which the PED can be inserted. In some of the embodiments, the door defines the medication-storage compartment.

Abstract: A phonetic transliteration card display includes a display board to which a plurality of display cards can be secured removably. The card display enables a person who speaks a first language, but not a second language, to speak simple phrases in the second language and be understood by a listener who speaks only the second language. This result is accomplished by displaying a source phrase in the first language on each display card, along with a target phrase that constitutes a translation of the source phrase in the second language. A phonetic transliteration of the target phrase is displayed in the first language. When the phonetic transliteration is read aloud by the speaker, the listener will hear, and therefore understand, the target phrase. The cards can be color-coded by subject matter, if desired. The display board contains a chamber that permits a number of display cards to be stored. The display board is constructed such that a number of similar boards can be connected to each other.
