  • Publication number: 20240392292
Abstract: Described are RNAi agents, compositions that include RNAi agents, and methods for inhibition of coronavirus (CoV) viral genome. The CoV RNAi agents and RNAi agent conjugates disclosed herein inhibit the expression of a SARS-CoV-2 viral genome, and the targeted portions of the genome are conserved across a variety of known coronaviruses. Pharmaceutical compositions that include one or more CoV RNAi agents, optionally with one or more additional therapeutics, are also described. Delivery of the described CoV RNAi agents to pulmonary cells, in vivo, provides for inhibition of CoV viral genome expression, including SARS-CoV-2, which can provide a therapeutic benefit to subjects, including human subjects, for the treatment of various diseases including COVID-19.
