Abstract: In a computer-implemented method, disaster location data indicating a location (e.g., latitude and longitude) of a natural disaster may be received, and a location (e.g., latitude and longitude) of a risk (such as a property or home) may be determined. A distance between the location of the natural disaster and the location of the risk may be calculated. It may be determined that the risk is, or is not, insurable at least in part by comparing the calculated distance to a threshold distance. In response to determining that the property is, or is not, insurable, a user interface may be caused to provide an indication that the risk is, or is not, insurable, respectively. When a property is determined to be insurable, the method may facilitate providing property insurance covering properties that otherwise would not be eligible or qualify for insurance as a result of the natural disaster.

Abstract: A printed document client receives a first print stream for a soft copy document, determines whether one or more conditions for adding a graphical symbol to the printed document are satisfied, and when the one or more conditions for adding the graphical symbol to the printed document are satisfied, adds the graphical symbol to the first print stream to generate a second print stream that includes the graphical symbol, and outputs the second print stream to a printer so the graphical symbol is printed on the printed document corresponding to the soft copy document. The printed document can be a hard copy document or a soft copy document generated from the second print stream.

One or more DMSs are registered with a postmark server. A client computing device executes a postmark client, detects a print event for a specified document, and queries a postmark server to determine whether the print event for the specified document should include a graphical postmark. In response, the postmark server queries one or more of the registered DMSs to determine whether the specified document matches a document in any of the repositories of the registered DMS(s). When the specified document to be printed matches a document in a registered DMS, the postmark server authorizes the postmark client to add the graphical postmark in a print stream corresponding to the print event for the specified document.

Abstract: Methods and systems for retrieving and compiling vehicle information from a variety of sources, and assessing circumstances or events based upon the vehicle information. A central entity, such as an insurance provider, may receive the vehicle information and avail information related to a plurality of vehicles to vehicle owners or operators in a single source dashboard. The central entity may assess the vehicle circumstances to determine whether to notify the individuals of an event, such as a vehicle recall or upcoming maintenance, and then generate notifications and communicate the notifications to the individuals. The notifications may enable the individuals to take maintenance, repair, update, and/or other actions to manage the circumstances and potentially avoid situations that may cause unnecessary financial commitments or vehicle damage.
