The drive train includes a kick arm that rotates the rear wheel when the kick arm is pushed backwards by the rider. The kick arm is centered with the rear wheel and a kick guard is located between the rear wheel and the kick arm. A first sprocket is mounted to the arm. The rear wheel has an associated second sprocket that is connected to the rear wheel via a clutch. A chain is mounted to the frame and extends around the first and second sprockets. The chain is routed such that as the arm is rotated the chain is drawn across the second sprocket thereby rotating the drive wheel.
