Publication number: 20240262274Abstract: A tension-loaded drive mechanism (“mechanism”) is provided for a cargo unloader. The drive mechanism includes a compressor for increasing the pressure of a fluid. The drive mechanism further includes multiple bladders fluidly connected to the compressor to receive the fluid from the compressor and expand in a rearward direction along a longitudinal axis of a cargo bed. The mechanism further includes a strap system having multiple straps attached to each bladder. The strap system further includes multiple spools configured to apply a compression counter force via the straps to the associated bladders, such that the compression counter force increases the pressure of the fluid in the associated bladders to a predetermined drive pressure threshold. The spools are further configured to dispense an associated one of the straps at a predetermined stepped payout rate such that the associated bladders apply a drive force associated with the predetermined drive pressure threshold.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 3, 2023Publication date: August 8, 2024Inventors: Paul W. Alexander, Jesus Anthony Bernal, Eric James Bontrager

Publication number: 20230150437Abstract: A roof and rack assembly for a vehicle includes a roof assembly including a roof panel extending laterally from a first side panel to a second side panel of the vehicle, defining a recess between the each of the first side panel and second side panel, and the roof panel. One or more pedestal brackets are secured to the roof assembly at the recess. A rack assembly includes a pedestal located at each recess and secured to the pedestal bracket, and a crossbar extending between the pedestals and secured thereto.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 16, 2021Publication date: May 18, 2023Inventors: Jesus Anthony Bernal, Amy Ferris, James Joseph Uppleger, Carlos Martinez, John P. Patent number: 7819762Abstract: A golfer training aid for use in teaching a golfer how to square up the face of the golf club at impact resulting in golf shots having substantial accuracy. The device is a one-piece or multi-piece flat-face practice golf ball. The one-piece or multi-piece practice golf ball is shaped with a flat face 2 on one side. (FIG. 1B). The flat face has a 90-degree or right angle cut 4 to the radial portion or circular embodiment 3 of the semi-sphere 1. The importance of this unique feature is that it enables the golfer to position the flat side of the club face with the flat face of the practice golf ball and contact the ball flush and correctly. The flat face practice golf ball helps teach the golfer to hit a variety of controlled fades and a variety of controlled draws, a straight shot, as well as a backspin or descending blow, or a flop shot.Type: GrantFiled: September 4, 2008Date of Patent: October 26, 2010Inventors: Richard Anthony Bernal-Silva, Janice Ann Lopez

Patent number: 7453357Abstract: An article locating system comprises a first unit having a housing and a circuit for generating a coded search signal that is unique to the first unit. The first unit operatively communicates with a second unit attached to the article to be located. The second unit includes a housing and a circuit for receiving the search signal and for generating a found signal. The second unit transmits the found signal to the first unit which then responds by selectively activating an indicator connected to the circuit of the first unit. The indicator preferably includes an array of indicator lights that are programmed to illuminate in a sequence to indicate the proximate position of the second unit relative to the first unit for locating the article. In an alternative embodiment, the second unit includes a record/playback device for recording and playing an audible communication in response to receiving the first signal from the first unit.Type: GrantFiled: October 5, 2005Date of Patent: November 18, 2008Assignee: Pereva, Inc.Inventors: Richard Anthony Bernal-Silva, Janice Ann Lopez, Miroslaw Bogdanowicz

Publication number: 20050114523Abstract: Under the present invention, user interface pages are served to a user so that the user can access “information” files in real-time using a web browser or the like. In a typical embodiment, the user will input login data, which will be used to access his/her access control permissions. Based on the access control permissions, the files the user is authorized to access will be displayed in a list along with a list of links to other computer systems in the network the user can access. When the user selects a desired file, that file will be retrieved in real-time and the information therein will be communicated to the user for viewing in the interface pages.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 26, 2003Publication date: May 26, 2005Applicant: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: John Barron, Anthony Bernal, Shandrof Burks, Ian Uriarte
