  • Patent number: 11893643
Abstract: A system may include one or more sensors that acquire location information associated with the one or more sensors. The system may also include a processor that receives a first set of data comprising environmental information associated with a location, receives the location information from the one or more sensors, and determines whether a risk of damage to property associated with at least one of the one or more sensors is greater than a threshold based on the location information and the environmental information. When the risk is greater than the threshold, the processor may send a notification including the risk of damage to the property to a computing device that may provide an audio or visual indication of the notification.

  • Patent number: 11138567
Abstract: Methods and systems described in this disclosure receive, from a device, information associated with an activity for input into an enterprise integrated calendar, including a start date of the activity, a completion date of the activity, and a resource expected to be impacted by the activity from the start date to the completion date. Based on the start and completions dates and the resource impacted, a change impact score for the activity can be determined. A saturation score (or a series of saturation scores) for the resource can be generated from the start date to the completion date based on the change impact score for the activity and change impact scores of other activities. Such scores can provide information about whether the activity should remain on the enterprise calendar or be moved to a different date where the saturation scores do not exceed certain saturation levels.

  • Patent number: 9477877
Abstract: Systems and methods for monitoring assets at a premises on a utility grid. Face print information is extracted from image data received. The face print information comprises an amount of data less than the amount of data comprising the image data of the face. Asset management information from an asset management system is also received. Multiple image data may be received and vector information is determined that corresponds to the trajectory of movement of a face. A security alert is generated by correlating the asset management information with the face print information and/or the vector information and transmitting in real time the security alert to a monitoring center. A security alert may also be generated from image data reflecting abnormal running conditions of a device. Security alerts would be of a size and format necessary for transmission on any existing network, including a narrow band network.

  • Publication number: 20160037739
Abstract: Described is an apparatus that can be used for the vertically oriented culture of plants using soilless means such as aquaponics or hydroponics. The apparatus can include a plurality of pockets and a backing. Each pocket of the plurality of pockets can be used to house an individual plant. Each pocket of the plurality can have a water reservoir, an outlet hole at a top of the water reservoir and a channel along a front of the pocket configured to direct water from the outlet hole to another pocket or collection container below the pocket. The plurality of pockets can be connected to the backing in a column or other configuration.

  • Patent number: 9240934
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for monitoring the health of a home area network. An example system includes multiple devices communicatively coupled via a home area network and a gateway device communicatively coupled to the devices via the home area network. The home area network is configured for communicating information regarding a resource consumed at a geographical area serviced by the home area network. The gateway device includes a processor and a computer-readable medium. The processor can execute instructions embodied in the computer-readable medium to perform operations. The operations include monitoring communication metrics describing communications among the devices via the home area network. The operations also include monitoring application-level events generated by applications executed by the devices. The operations also include generating a status indicator for the home area network based on the communication metrics and the application-level events.

  • Publication number: 20110186650
Abstract: An improved shower soap dispenser for use with liquid soap, gels and body washes. It consists of a soap storage reservoir, main body containing control valves that intersects and connects directly to a conventional shower pipe and shower head. It mixes an adjustable amount of liquid with air into the flowing water. Its improved main valve with greater vacuum ability that is multi-functional and multi-positional with new “self cleanout” position and “off/trickle” position, which now can also be used with a hand held shower hose unit. Yet another dispenser improvement, it can now be operated from a sitting position by someone who is physically challenged, handicapped or unable to stand. This can be new bathing independence in the shower for many people who previously had to rely on an assistant to help them bath.

  • Patent number: 6610483
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for the identification of a pattern of changes in cellular responses induced by the selective inhibition of a signaling molecule, by determining the specific effects of a selective inhibitor on a mutant form of a signaling molecule on cellular responses. The pattern of alterations in cellular responses resulting from the inhibition by a selective mutant inhibitor of the mutant signaling molecule are characteristic of the cellular response alterations that a specific inhibitor of the wild-type signaling molecule will produce. After determining the pattern of cellular responses of the mutant cells with the mutant molecule, compounds may be identified capable of inhibiting the wild-type molecule by producing a pattern of cellular responses in wild-type cells matching or having similarity to that of the inhibition of the mutant molecule.
