Publication number: 20160302341Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Convallaria plant named ‘Fragol’, characterized by its upright to spreading plant habit; moderately vigorous to vigorous growth habit; yellow green-colored leaves; freely and early flowering habit; relatively large campanulate flowers that are strongly fragrant and white in color; and good garden performance.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 7, 2015Publication date: October 13, 2016Inventor: Anthony Brooks

Patent number: 8965637Abstract: A method of operating a working machine which includes a main structure and a working arm pivotally mounted at one end on the main structure. The working arm is raisable and lowerable relative to the main structure by a first actuator device, and is extendible relative to the main structure by a second actuator device. In use, the arm carries at another end a working implement which can carry a load. The machine further including a ground engaging drive structure by which the machine is drivable on the ground. The machine has a longitudinal load moment control system which automatically disables operation of the first and/or second actuator devices from increasing longitudinal instability in the event that a predetermined instability is sensed. When the machine senses a ground travelling speed above a threshold speed, the longitudinal load moment control system is disabled.Type: GrantFiled: June 17, 2010Date of Patent: February 24, 2015Assignee: J.C. Bamford Excavators LimitedInventors: Richard Anthony Brooks, Graham Mark Brooks, Kevin William Ford

Publication number: 20130260921Abstract: The Golf Swing Caddie is a synthetic artificial turf that is very durable golf training equipment. It is completely portable device that can be used indoors and outdoors to enable golfer's ball striking abilities to help golfers be able to strike the golf ball with confidence. The Golf Swing Caddie is an artificial golf turf with a rubber ball attached by bungee cord for golf training equipment. This gives the golfer the ability to hit the ball and see the line with the artificial turf and delivery accurate ball strikes and see the line the ball goes down and coming back along the same line.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 30, 2012Publication date: October 3, 2013Inventor: Michael Anthony Brooks

Publication number: 20120039696Abstract: A control system for a machine which includes a load handling apparatus, the load is moveable relative to a body of the machine by the load handling apparatus. The machine including a pivot about which a tipping moment is produced by the load. The load handling apparatus including an actuator and is capable of moving the load to a position at which the tipping moment is at a predetermined threshold value. The control system includes a sensor which senses the tipping moment and in use, provides an input to a controller. The controller is responsive to the input to influence operation of the actuator so that in the event that the sensor senses that the value of the tipping moment is approaching the threshold value, the speed of movement of the load is progressively reduced.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 25, 2011Publication date: February 16, 2012Applicant: J.C. Bamford Excavators LimitedInventors: Richard Anthony Brooks, Peter Jowett

Patent number: 8070413Abstract: A control system for a machine which includes a load handling apparatus for moving a load relative to a body of the machine. The machine includes a pivot about which a tipping moment is produced by the load. The load handling apparatus includes an actuator capable of moving the load to a position at which the tipping moment is at a threshold value. The control system is responsive to a tipping moment sensor to control operation of the actuator to progressively reduce the speed of movement of the load as the threshold value of the tipping moment is approached.Type: GrantFiled: July 2, 2003Date of Patent: December 6, 2011Assignee: J. C. Bamford Excavators LimitedInventors: Richard Anthony Brooks, Peter Jowett

Publication number: 20070033944Abstract: It is known that overshoot in fuel flow rate as a result of compensating for engine heat soak effects can create transient over values in desired thrust parameters. These over values may be displayed and/or utilised in other engine control systems, and although transient may create problems within the engine and apprehension with a user. By adjusting the normally calculated fuel flow rate to a fuel regulator by the introduction of a fuel flow adjustment dependent upon a variable which is related to heat soak effects it is possible to reduce the extent of overshoot as well as the transient time period of that overshoot to ongoing operational state. The variable used may be direct or indirect and will generally utilise a temperature sensor within the engine and/or other engine control procedures which may be extrapolated from such sensor values to provide a variable for heat soak compensation.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 25, 2006Publication date: February 15, 2007Inventors: Arthur Rowe, Anthony Brook

Publication number: 20050125918Abstract: The Scrub-A-Brush, Millennium Edition . . . . And is designed to aid individuals with less than normal mobility in their arms and hands. Working by the compression's of ones jaws. This apparatus also cleans the gums and strengths them. While cleaning both sides of the teeth and tops all at the same time. This apparatus is designed for moderate to healthy teeth and gums. If gums bleed vigorously without ceasing technique should STOP and consumer should consult a dental hygienist for recommendation(s). The Scrub-A-Brush, M.E. was envisioned to get the young at heart to have more enjoyment in a task that most individuals primarily “CHILDREN” do not usually find enjoyable even though it is vital to good dental hygiene.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 13, 2003Publication date: June 16, 2005Inventor: Anthony Brooks
