Abstract: A multiprocessor computer system and method for use therein are provided for assigning processes to processor nodes. The system can determine a first pair of processes and a second pair of processes, each process of the first pair of processes executing on different nodes and each process of the second pair of processes executing on different nodes. The system can determine a first priority value of the first pair of processes, based at least in part on a first resource access rate of the first pair of processes; and determine a second priority value of the second pair of processes, based at least in part on a second resource access rate of the second pair of processes. The system can determine the first priority value is greater than the second priority value; and determine to reassign a first process of the first pair of processes to a first node, wherein a second process of the first pair of processes is executing on the first node.

The processor receives at least one invoice from at least one payee that represents a verified debt obligation payable by a payor to the at least one payee on a specified due date. The processor also determines if the at least one verified invoice is eligible for financing to enable early payment of the at least one invoice. Abstract: A system and computer program product allocates energy entitlement to a logical partition (LPAR) executing on a data processing system. An energy entitlement allocation (EEA) utility enables an administrator to specify a minimum and/or maximum energy entitlement and An LPAR priority. When the relevant LPARs utilize the respective minimum energy entitlement based on respective energy consumption, the EEA utility determines whether the LPAR (and other LPARs) has satisfied a respective maximum energy entitlement. When the LPAR has not satisfied its maximum energy entitlement, the EEA utility allocates unused energy entitlement from the data processing system to the LPAR, according to an allocation policy. Additionally, the EEA utility dynamically adjusts a priority level for the LPAR to efficiently control resource allocation, according to the LPAR's energy consumption relative to its energy entitlement.

The method consists of providing a dimension template for each dimension undergoing slow changes, which template assigns a behavior to each column of the dimension table. If such a record exists and if any attributes of the row to be delivered have their values changed compared with the existing record, the table is updated according to the behavior type assigned to these attributes in the dimension template, either by overwriting the existing record with the record to be delivered or by creating a new record or records.
