  • Publication number: 20220330050
Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, automatically detecting a service issue of a telecommunication system that may impact a customer of a telecommunication service provider of the telecommunication system, predicting, by the processing system, a future customer care interaction by the customer as a result of the service issue, initiating a resolution action of the telecommunication system for the service issue before the customer contacts a customer care agent of the telecommunication service provider, wherein the initiating is responsive to the predicting the future customer care interaction and modifying a component of the telecommunication system to improve efficiency of operation of the telecommunication system by reducing a number of customer care contacts by customers of the telecommunication service provider. Other embodiments are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11469939
Abstract: A method and apparatus for providing trouble isolation are disclosed. For example, the method monitors a plurality of sessions for a user group for detecting an abnormal cause code associated with the user group, determines a root cause for the abnormal cause code when a deviation is determined to have occurred for the cause code of the user group, wherein the root cause identifies either an issue associated with the communications network or an issue associated with user endpoint devices of the user group, and generates a ticket indicating the root cause.

  • Patent number: 5014206
Abstract: A system used for determining and recording the location of a vehicle during the occurence of predetermined events. The vehicle is equipped with a sensor or sensors which respond to the occurrence of the predetermined events. The sensors are connected to a navigational system which receive positional information from a navigational transmitter. The navigational system then computes the positional information, such as latitude and longitude of the vehicle, and stores this information in a data collector on the vehicle. The date and time of day of the occurrence of the events may also be stored along with the positional information.

  • Patent number: 4955655
Abstract: An apparatus and method of a robot or like end-of-arm tool (EOAT) for gripping workpieces by cavities in the workpieces is provided. The EOAT is connected with the robot or like and includes an extendible rod having a generally flanged end opposite the robot. The EOAT also includes at least one spacer encircling the rod between the robot or like and the flanged end of the rod, and at least two elastomeric gripper portions encircling the rod and capturing at least one spacer. The gripper portions have a first dimension when the rod is extended whereby at least one of the gripper portions can be inserted into a workpiece cavity and the gripper portions have a second dimension when the rod is retracted whereby the gripper portions can engage with the workpiece cavity to grip the workpiece.

  • Patent number: 4688026
Abstract: Tags capable of wirelessly transmitting unique codes when energized by radio frequency (RF) energy are used to identify a variety of different locations and objects. A portable battery-powered unit having digital storage capabilities is designed to be transported to the general location of the tagged locations and objects. The user moves an RF antenna sufficiently close to the tag to energize it and cause the tag to transmit its code. The detected code is then stored in digital form in a memory. The location tags contain an association or master list of the objects associated with that particular location. The method finds particular utility in performing inventory control of furniture or other objects since the tags can be mounted at points thereon that are not readily observable, thereby preserving their aesthetic appearance.
