  • Publication number: 20240101274
Abstract: An electric pushback vehicle includes a frame having a forward portion and a rear portion. The vehicle further includes front drive axle and a rear drive axle configured to communicate power to ground engaging members. A traction battery is housed within the electric pushback vehicle and provides electric power to an electric motor to drive an output shaft. A transmission is connected to receive mechanical power from the electric motor through a torque converter.

  • Publication number: 20070270600
Abstract: Lipids (including fatty acids) are extracted from animal solids such as powdered, freeze dried or fresh meat of green lipped mussel (Perna canaliculus) by mixing said solids with a solvent such as acetone capable of dissolving lipids therefrom to form a solvent extract, removing solvent from said extract by nanofiltration to produce a concentrated lipid extract and recovered solvent, and removing further solvent from the concentrated extract by rotary evaporation to leave extracted lipids particularly rich in eicosatetraenoic acids (ETA's).

  • Publication number: 20070270376
Abstract: A pharmaceutical or veterinary composition comprises a hyaluronic acid or a salt thereof or an ester of hyaluronic acid with an alcohol of the aliphatic, heterocyclic or cycloaliphatic series, or a sulphated form of hyaluronic acid, together with at least one eicosanoid or tetraenoic polyunsaturated fatty acid or an ester or a salt thereof, preferably in the form of an extract of fatty acids from the New Zealand Green Lipped Mussel Perna canaliculus. The compositions are active against inflammatory conditions including osteoarthritis.

  • Patent number: 6677823
Abstract: An automatic gain compensation circuit for actively adjusting the gain of an amplifier caused by in-loop and/or out-of-loop influences on system gain. Two matched RF detectors convert pre- and post-amplified signals to input and output voltages representative of the power of the RF signals. A gain control circuit which may include a Digital Analog Converter (DAC) utilizes an offset voltage that is weighted along with the input and output voltages to produce an error voltage. The error voltage is used to drive a voltage-controlled attenuator within the amplification path. Operational amplifiers may be used in the weighting circuits for weighting the input, output, and offset voltages in order to prevent loading of the RF detector outputs and to obtain rapid settling time. During amplifier operation, the offset voltage is adjusted by a processing unit to compensate for gain changes in the amplifier due to out-of-loop temperature-related influences on system gain.

  • Patent number: 6146589
Abstract: An assay device for detecting the presence of an analyte in a sample, wherein a visible signal indicative of the presence or absence of said analyte is produced at a detection site on a support, characterised in that said signal is generated or enhanced by means of a signal enhancement reaction between a labelled first binding reagent which is labelled and a label developing means, which are arranged to be delivered to the detection site in a single assay step but in a sequential manner such that the first binding reagent arrives at the detection site ahead of the label developing means. The sequential delivery of the reagents to the detection site is provided by techniques such as liquidic circuits, slow release agents, and others. Methods of carrying out assays and kits for use in the assays form a further aspect of the invention.
