  • Publication number: 20070014981
Abstract: An antireflective transparent zeolite hardcoat and fabrication method thereof. The transparent zeolite hardcoat comprises a zeolite nanostructure made of zeolite nanocrystals vertically stacked into a porous structure on a substrate, wherein the porosity increases with structure height, thereby providing a smooth refractive index transition.

  • Publication number: 20060222586
Abstract: An environmentally friendly method for preparing zinc oxide (zincite) nanoparticle sol having more than 90% visible light transmission at 20 wt % solid; comprises of the neutralizing, under specific pH, an inorganic zinc salt with an inorganic alkali, both dissolved in ethylene glycol, and thermally aging the precipitates afterward.

  • Publication number: 20050070424
Abstract: A method for making transparent continuous zeolite film is provided. First a transparent precursor sol is prepared, and the precursor sol is processed to a specific concentration. The precursor solution is coated on a surface of a substrate which is heated under an ambiance of 120˜25° C. in temperature and a humidity less than saturated humidity. The packing of zeolite nanocrystals in the film converted from coated precursor sol has preferred orientation and the film shows super-hydrophobic property.

  • Patent number: 6746660
Abstract: A process for producing ultra-fine zeolite nanocrystals and their aggregates having an intracrystalline void within 1˜10 nanometers in size that comprises at least as follows: preparing a transparent silicate-containing aqueous solution, with optional elements as Aluminum, Titanium and organic template molecules, known to produce zeolite; heating the solution under a temperature of 25°˜100° C. for a certain period of time while keeping the solution still in a transparent state without forming colloidal zeolite; adding an anionic surfactant to precipitate the inorganic components; forming the dried inorganic-organic hybrid precipitate into a desired shape and then heating the shaped body with steam under a temperature of 100°˜200° C.
