  • Patent number: 11966116
Abstract: In one embodiment, a display comprises a light source positioned to emit light into a 0.5 millimeter thick lightguide with light extraction features, a cladding layer optically coupled to a core layer of the lightguide on a first side, a light turning film optically coupled to the cladding layer on an opposite side, the light turning film comprising a light turning features that redirect frustrated totally internally reflected light from the core layer into a first portion of light with a first peak luminous intensity at a first angle and a second portion of light with a second peak luminous intensity at a second angle different from the first angle and on an opposite side of the thickness direction, and the light diffusely reflecting from a reflective spatial light modulator has a peak luminous intensity within degrees from a direction normal to a surface of the display.

  • Patent number: 11960507
Abstract: A computer-implemented method, system and computer program product for identifying ancestor objects in hierarchical data configured for processing with a query, the query having an associated abstract syntax tree. The abstract syntax tree may be processed so as to generate an augmented abstract syntax tree which includes parent identifiers configured to identify the parent nodes of the query. In this way, a need to pre-parse the data may be alleviated. Instead, the identification of a parent node of a query may be encoded into the abstract syntax tree of the query.

  • Patent number: 11947149
Abstract: A display comprises a film-based lightguide, a light source positioned to emit light into the lightguide, and a light turning film with light turning features comprising a first surface with a first coating of a first material with a first refractive index that redirects light extracted from lightguide toward a reflective spatial light modulator wherein the light turning features also comprise a second surface that does not comprise a coating of the first material or comprises a coating of a thickness of the first material less than 500 nanometers. The light turning film may comprise a base layer of a second material with a second refractive index, and the first refractive index is less than the second refractive index. The first surface may be an angled planar surface oriented at an angle the surface of the light turning film or comprise a curved surface.

  • Publication number: 20230301340
Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel rotating cake pan device designed to allow a user to place a cake or other dessert on the rotating platform, and then rotating the dessert during decorating. The device comprises a bottom base component positioned on a rotating turntable component. A detachable drainage reservoir drip-pan and a detachable cooling rack are all placed on top of the bottom base component. The bottom base component comprises four rubber plugs and a non-skid bottom which secures the bottom base component to the rotating turntable component during use. Thus, during decoration, any glaze or icing will drip off the cake and into the drip-pan, where it can be drizzled back onto the item or poured back into a storage container.

  • Publication number: 20190298080
Abstract: A portable bleacher seat designed to restrain a child sitting in a bleacher. The portable bleacher seat has a folding seat with a seat member and a back member. The seat member is a rectangular prism with an upper surface opposite a lower surface and a front side opposite a rear side, with a fastener on the lower surface designed to secure to a bleacher. The back member is pivotally connected to the rear side of the seat member and can selectively pivot between a closed and open position. The back member is perpendicular to the seat member when in the open position. A tray is removably affixed to the folding seat with a gap created between the tray and the folding seat. The gap is configured to receive a child therein. In this way, a user is able to restrain a child at an event with bleacher seating.

  • Publication number: 20170245607
Abstract: An adjustable carry bag includes an enclosure having a length that is adjustable. The enclosure has two separate end sections that are releasably connectable together to provide an opening. Each end section has a closure panel movable between an open position for permitting access to an interior space of the enclosure through the opening and a closed position in which the closure panel blocks access to the interior space. Coupling structures extend from and substantially around an entire perimeter portion of the respective connecting ends of the end sections for releasably coupling the end sections to one another. The coupling structures are configured to be releasably disconnected from one another for releasably connecting one or more tubular extension sections between the end sections to adjust the length of the enclosure.
