Abstract: A compact putter-type club head comprising a compact body profile and a small strike surface area is described herein. The compact putter head achieves distinct alignment and delivery advantages under a variety of putting conditions and is uniquely suited to produce accurate putting from the rough or fringe. The small body dimensions, including the strike face, force the player to focus on making a center strike, while also providing minimal resistance when travelling through tall grass. Certain features and characteristics of the compact putter head are specifically tailored to produce one of these benefits, while certain other features or characteristics provide benefits across multiple areas.

Abstract: Embodiments of a golf club head comprising an onset shaft that is in front of and on the heel side of the center of gravity (CG) are described herein. The embodiments described herein will provide stability through the putting stroke, get the ball on a true roll, and accommodate different players’ stroke types. These embodiments account for player stroke type while providing the true roll (more forward spin) of an onset shaft. Fitting a player to a putter that suits their stroke type allows a player to hit a ball on the player’s intended target line thereby increasing the amount putts holed by the player. The goal in the game of golf is to shoot the lowest score and making putts will improve a player's score.

Abstract: A putter-type golf club head includes a front with an array of dynamic bumpers designed to amplify the elastic response of the putter head, enabling sufficient dynamic launch and greater topspin in a golf ball at impact. Each dynamic bumper extends perpendicular to a loft plane from a bumper base end to a bumper free end. The bumper free end is angled and further includes a bumper tip region that compresses and deflects upon contact with the golf ball, transitioning from an initial, uncompressed state to a deflected state. The bumper tip regions of the array of dynamic bumpers cooperate to form a dynamic striking surface that promotes greater topspin and an efficient transition to true roll. This allows the golf ball to stay on its intended line and maintain consistent speed on various putting surfaces, to improve putting accuracy and reliability.
