The variable duration valve train includes a drive cylinder structure, a stroke limit cylinder structure, an engine valve structure, a plurality of cams, and a working fluid. The engine valve structure attaches to the drive cylinder structure. The stroke limit cylinder structure forms a fluidic connection with the drive cylinder structure. The working fluid fills the stroke limit cylinder structure and the drive cylinder structure. The plurality of cams form mechanical linkages with the drive cylinder structure and the stroke limit cylinder structure. The working fluid and the plurality of cams limit the range of motion of the engine valve structure.

    Abstract: The variable lift valve train includes a spring-loaded valve that is in mechanical connection with a lever bar. The lever bar is attached to a stroke limiter. The lever bar extends across the spring-loaded valve and the stroke limiter. The lever bar is positioned under a first cam. The angle of the first cam adjusts the angular orientation of the lever bar with respect to the stroke limiter as well as the spring-loaded valve. The stroke limiter is biased via a stroke spring. Moreover, the stroke limiter extends downwardly, and optionally engages against a stroke limiter cam. The stroke limiter cam is optionally able to influence the stroke limiter, and is a secondary influence when compared to the angular orientation of the lever bar. In use, the variable lift valve train is able to adjust the timing and lift of the spring-loaded valve of the engine.

    Abstract: The mechanically operable variable timing device for use with a rocker arm pivot point that is able to adjust the valve timing and lift on a valve stem by adjusting the pivot point of the rocker arm. The mechanically operated variable timing device includes a cam that rotates independent of engine RPM in order to adjust the pivot point of the rocker arm, which in turn adjusts the lift and valve timing of the engine at any RPM. The mechanically operated variable timing device places the cam above a plunger, which is positioned over the respective rocker arm. The plunger is biased upwardly via a spring positioned between the ball fulcrum of the rocker arm and a bottom portion of the plunger. A pivot shaft is threadably engaged to a threaded hole located on a top surface of the engine block.

    Abstract: The variable lift hydraulic valve train works in conjunction with a master piston to provide a variable lift of a hydraulically operated valve by adjusting the hydraulic pressure created by the master piston. The variable lift hydraulic valve train includes a housing containing a variable camshaft, and stroke limiter piston. The stroke limiter piston is in fluid communication with the hydraulic fluid, which is in fluid communication with the master piston and valve piston. The position of the stroke limiter piston can be adjusted irrespective of engine RPM to provide varying lift and timing of the valve.
