  • Publication number: 20230089215
Abstract: A fastener assembly is provided for helping to secure a mounting bracket to a housing of a vehicle caliper assembly having a piston axially movable for applying braking force to a brake pad. The fastener assembly includes a guide device including guide pin secured to the housing and having a head and a shaft extending into a bore in the mounting bracket. A sleeve includes a first portion configured to extend into the bore and a second portion provided inside the first portion and encircling and engaging the shaft for damping relative movement between the guide pin and the bore in response to vehicle vibrations. A flexible seal encircles the shaft and is connected to the guide pin and the sleeve such that axial movement of the guide pin relative to the bore changes the length of the seal.

  • Patent number: 11149811
Abstract: A disc brake assembly includes a brake clip having a U-shaped section, at least one retention tang, and an abutment leg. The U-shaped section has a base leg and opposing upper and lower legs extending from the base leg. The upper leg has an inner face facing the lower leg. The at least one tang extends away from the U-shaped section and inner face. The abutment leg extends from the lower leg and has a midpoint between a top edge and a bottom edge. The midpoint is not planar with the top and bottom edges.

  • Patent number: 9511698
Abstract: A vehicle seat back has first and second support members each having a central web and a rear wall extending therefrom. A seat base is operably connected with the first and second support members. A recliner heart operably connects the seat base with the first and second support members. A shear center of the first and second support members extends along an inside corner connection of the central web and the rear wall of the first and second support members and into the seat base.

  • Publication number: 20080062303
Abstract: The invention relates to apparatus including a communications device such as a mobile telephone or P.D.A which is capable of receiving and transmitting data and of capturing video images. The device can be located on a movable means of a holder, so as to be movable to allow the angle or rotational position of the device to be adjusted with respect to the remainder of the holder. This allows the communication device to be positioned as required and relay video image data to a remote location to allow a monitoring facility to be provided.
