  • Patent number: 11388045
Abstract: A wireless communication network comprises network circuitry which hosts a Virtual Network Function (VNF). A VNF controller instantiates the VNF in the network circuitry and transfers instantiation information for the VNF to provisioning circuitry. The provisioning circuitry receives the instantiation information for the VNF and establishes a provisioning data link to the VNF. The provisioning circuitry transfers network provisioning data to the VNF over the provisioning data link. The VNF controller de-instantiates the VNF in the network circuitry and responsively transfers de-instantiation information for the VNF to the provisioning circuitry. The provisioning circuitry receives the de-instantiation information for the VNF and terminates the provisioning data link to the VNF. The VNF controller may comprise a Network Function Virtualization Management and Orchestration (NFV MANO) computer.

  • Patent number: 10965523
Abstract: A provisioning system receives network element information from a wireless communication network that characterizes a virtual network element. The provisioning system determines that the virtual network element is active and that a provisioning data link is not operational between the virtual network element and the provisioning system. The provisioning system determines a network address for the virtual network element. The provisioning system exchanges network signaling with the virtual network element using the network address to establish the provisioning data link. The provisioning system transfers provisioning data to the virtual network element over the provisioning data link.

  • Patent number: 10749869
Abstract: A system for changing roaming policy configuration on an authentication, authorization, accounting (AAA) system. The system comprises a processor, a non-transitory memory, and an AAA policy change application stored in the non-transitory memory. When executed by the processor, the AAA policy change application launches execution of a plurality of instances of the automation script, monitors a progress of the instances of the automation script, compares the progress of the instances of the automation script to a time remaining of a predefined maintenance time window, where the AAA policy change application is configured to halt an in-progress update of roaming policy configuration on the plurality of AAA nodes based on the comparison of the progress of the instances of the automation script being insufficient relative to the time remaining of the predefined maintenance time window, and copies roaming policy files updated by the automation script to AAA nodes.

  • Patent number: 10313282
Abstract: A middleware messaging system hosted on a telecommunications network computer system is configured to route messages between a message queue (MQ) messaging system of a customer information system (CIS) and a point-to-point messaging system of a service control point management system (SCPMS). The middleware messaging system includes configurable components comprising a plurality of service delivery platform (SDP) consumers and SDP producers, where a status of the configuration components is dynamically changed by at least one of a configuration file, table entries in a database, or a management web page, and where the middleware messaging system is configured to receive a failover message from the backup node indicating a second instance of the telecommunication application is hosted on the backup node; determine messages pending a response from the first instance of the telecommunication application; and transmit the messages to the second instance of the telecommunication application.

  • Patent number: 9240968
Abstract: A method of monitoring a plurality of servers is disclosed. The method comprises a centralized provisioning system (CPS) server receiving emails from a plurality of provisioning servers, wherein the emails are auto-generated by the provisioning servers. The method comprises the CPS server transferring the emails to an email account. The method comprises a CPS email process (CEP) server accessing the emails in the email account, wherein the emails are one or more of a variety of emails. The method comprises the CEP server analyzing the emails, wherein the CEP server analyzes the subject, the time stamp, and the source of each email. The method comprises, the CEP server transferring each of the emails to a plurality of lists based on its analysis. The method comprises the CEP server generating a summary email for each list. The method further comprises the CEP server sending the summary emails to a designated recipient.

  • Patent number: 9187044
Abstract: A cargo management system for a vehicle includes a beam assembly that has a first end and a second end. At least one of the ends is biased axially outward and compressible axially inward. Each of the ends has a common interface configured to be supportable by the opposing side walls of the vehicle so that the beam assembly is supported at both of the first and second ends by the walls and extends over a floor of a vehicle, with said at least one of the ends compressed axially inward. The beam assembly can be used as a bed divider, to provide two-tier loading, and as a ladder rack.
