Abstract: An indexing device provides a bookmark for a reader to indicate the reader's place in the book for successive reading sessions. The device includes a flexible prong held in position between two leaves of the book from an edge location by an arm member. The arm member is preferably pivotally secured to a base that releaseably attaches to the book. Several embodiments showing different mounting structures are described.
