Abstract: A process and article for enhancing the efficiency of transfer of a perfuming composition between a flexible porous or fibrous element and a fabric during drying of the fabric by incorporating a mixture of methyl abietates, preferably those available under the tradename ABALYN.RTM. or HERCOLYN.RTM., with the perfuming composition and at least one fabric conditioning agent which are carried by the flexible porous or fibrous element.

Abstract: Cyclic ethers of formula ##STR1## wherein the dotted line indicates the location of a single or double bond and the symbol R represents an isopropenyl radical or a 1-ethoxy-1-methylethyl radical, are novel compounds with useful organoleptic properties. They can be used as active ingredients in perfuming compositions and perfumed products to which they confer rosy-fruity type odor notes. In addition, they possess flavor qualities which render these compounds useful for flavoring foodstuffs and drinks and, namely, mango-type drinks.A process for the preparation of the compounds of formula (I) is also disclosed.

In the field of flavors, 1(7)-p-menthen-9-al develops flowery, herbal and fatty characters reminiscent of certain aspects of the flavor of nuts or cumin.

Abstract: Certain pyridine derivatives have been found to possess particularly useful odorous properties. They develop green and herbaceous fragrance notes and have a specific utility for the reconstitution of the essential oil of Artemesia Vulgaris.

Abstract: 1-Ethynyl-2,2-6-trimethyl-cyclohexanol, a compound of formula ##STR1## possesses useful perfuming and flavoring properties. Use of said hydroxy-acetylenic derivative as perfume and flavor ingredient is discussed.
