  • Patent number: 11577305
Abstract: Provided herein is a system, apparatus, and method for venting a direct chill casting mold by venting excess casting gas and retaining oxide from atop a casting during the direct chill casting process. Methods of venting casting gas from a direct chill casting mold include: supplying the direct chill casting mold with molten metal through a transition plate; supplying a casting gas through a casting surface of the direct chill casting mold; venting the casting gas from a gas pocket in the transition plate, wherein venting the casting gas from the gas pocket in the transition plate is performed in response to a pressure of the casting gas in the gas pocket reaching a predetermined pressure.

  • Patent number: 11394220
Abstract: In one or more embodiments, one or more systems, one or more methods, and/or one or more processes may receive first user input; determine a first query for a state of charge (SOC) of a rechargeable battery based at least on the first user input; in response to the first query, provide first information indicating the SOC of the battery; receive second user input; determine an instruction, based at least on the second user input, to reduce the SOC of the battery; engage at least one load; after a period of time transpires, determine that the SOC of the battery is at or below a threshold SOC of the battery; and after determining that the SOC of the battery is at or below the threshold SOC, provide second information indicating the SOC of the battery is at or below the threshold SOC of the battery.

  • Patent number: 10060659
Abstract: A noise reduction insert for an evaporator. The noise reduction insert includes a body defining an inner volume of the insert. The body extends along a longitudinal axis of the insert. A perforated portion of the body defines a plurality of openings configured to allow fluid to pass out from within the inner volume through the plurality of openings. A flange at a first end of the body is opposite to a second end of the body. The flange defines an aperture through which the longitudinal axis extends. The aperture is configured to permit fluid to flow therethrough and into the inner volume defined by the body.

  • Publication number: 20180174250
Abstract: A system and a method are provided for construction project management graphical user interfaces (GUIs). An operation performed by the system and the method include generating a project profile for a construction project, determining project details of the project, determining a regulatory process to be performed during the project based on the project details and regulatory rules, determining worker's certificates or licenses corresponding to the regulatory process and the project details, determining candidate workers for the construction project from registered workers, and causing a first GUI for selection of one or more candidate workers to be generated. The first GUI includes indicators of statuses of the worker's certificates or licenses corresponding to the regulatory process with respect to each of the one or more candidate workers.

  • Patent number: 9948030
Abstract: A lever-releasable first electrical connector body includes a housing that includes a set of electrical connectors and a lever rotatably mounted in the housing for rotation between retracted and extended positions. When the first connector body is engaged with a second electrical connector body to form electrical connections with the set of electrical connectors, the lever is normally in the retracted position. Rotation of the lever to the extended position causes an end of the lever to engage and urge the second electrical connector away from the first electrical connector.
