  • Publication number: 20180051678
Abstract: A wind turbine bearing system for a rotating main shaft of a wind turbine includes a double-row tapered roller bearing assembly (64) having a one-piece inner race element. The inner race element defines first and second inner raceways. The roller bearing assembly further includes first and second sets of tapered rollers seated within the corresponding first and second inner raceways. The bearing assembly also includes a two-piece outer race element, each piece of the two-piece outer race element defining a respective outer raceway. Each piece of the two-piece outer race element has a cylindrical outer diameter defining an outer contact surface. The system further includes a pillow block housing assembly that defines a cylindrical inner diameter (46) substantially matched to the outer contact surfaces (144,148) of the pieces of the two-piece outer race element to define an interface between the pillow block housing assembly and the bearing assembly.

  • Publication number: 20050226983
Abstract: A sweetener is provided which is an agglomerate of an intense sweetener and a carrier such the sweetener has a bulk density from 0.18 to 0.50 g./cc. The sweetener fills a readily recognizable package while using a smaller amount of carrier and having the same amount of sweetness. The sweetener is less hygroscopic than if the intense sweetener and carrier were merely mixed. The sweetener does not cake together. The sweetener may contain, for example, 35 parts of soluble aspartame, 40 parts of maltodextrin having 10 Dextrose Equivalent (DE), and 925 parts of dextrose, where the aspartame, maltodextrin and dextrose are agglomerated. The agglomeration technique may be to introduce the ingredients and spray water to control the particle size to affect uniform free flowing powder. The agglomeration technique may also be a conveyor type steam agglomerator.

  • Patent number: 5837272
Abstract: A process for compatibly hydrating a fragmented solid which forms a gel with an aqueous composition, said process comprising:a. generating a first aqueous composition and a second oily composition containing the said fragmented solid;b. combining the first and second compositions in an at least the essential absence of air; andc. contacting the combined composition with a means for vibratorily mixing the combined composition, thereby causing the combined composition to be sufficiently mixed so as to hydrate the said fragmented solid to the extent that it is compatibilized into the composition and provides a stable gelled aqueous composition.
