  • Patent number: 9818555
Abstract: Methods and devices related to preventing accidental operation of a switch are disclosed. An example device includes a main body, and a latch element rotatably connected to the main body and is configured to move relative to the main body between an unlatched position and a latched position. In the latched position, the main body and the latch element encapsulate the switch. Also, in the latched position, the main body and the latch element form a cavity configured to accommodate wiring to the switch. Further, the main body is configured with a cutout to reveal a status of the switch. The switch has Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) index pin compatibility.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 9, 2017
Date of Patent: November 14, 2017
    Assignee: The Boeing Company
Inventors: Joshua Kye Terry, Bobby Joe Marsh, Michael Anthony Fleming

  • Patent number: 9584567
Abstract: A method, system and program product comprise communicating to a server system. The server system is at least configured to receive video/audio uploads from users, to maintain the uploads in a database of collaborations comprising video files where each of the video files comprises a same video file format, and to send to a user a collaboration. A collaboration from the server system is received for presentation to a user. A contribution to the received collaboration is recorded. The contribution is uploaded to the server system. The server system is further configured to process the contribution into the received collaboration to have the same video file format and to at least layer audio.

  • Patent number: 8961893
Abstract: A chemical diluter system includes a housing. A container is mounted in the housing and is adapted for storing soluble flowable chemical solids. A mixing chamber is disposed within the housing and adjacent to the container. A disposable dispenser is attached to the container for automatically dispensing a measured amount of the chemical solids from the container into the mixing chamber via gravity flow. The mixing chamber is adapted to receive fluid for dissolution of the chemical solids and for dispensing a diluted chemical solution of the chemical solids.

  • Publication number: 20030205692
Abstract: A self-dispersing particulate composition, in the form of pellets, prills, flakes or granules, containing particles with a first functional component that is a glassy solid with small, dispersed pockets of pressurized gas and, in the same or different particles, a second functional component that is a special-use material having at least one additional utility. Special use materials include, for example, a deicer, a fertilizer, a drain cleaner, an insecticide, a carpet cleaner, and a powdered laundry detergent. Dissolution of the glassy material liberates pressurized gas, causing repositioning of the special-use material.

  • Patent number: 5718678
Abstract: A multi-lumen coaxial catheter and method for making such a catheter are provided. The catheter includes three generally coaxially disposed catheter tubes having proximal and distal portions and defining three coaxial lumens. The distal portions are attached to the proximal portion of a sleeve. The distal portion of the sleeve extends outwardly from the proximal portion of the sleeve around the inner catheter tube to form a tip. The proximal portions of the catheter tubes are attached to a hub having passageways in fluid communication with the lumens extending longitudinally within the catheter tubes. The passageways are further in fluid communication with extension tubes also attached to the hub.

  • Patent number: 4392037
Abstract: A large area button in an electrical keyboard is prevented from jamming by being stabilized against tilt which results from depressive forces being applied remotely from the center of the button, the stabilization being achieved by the provision of two anti-roll bars attaching the button to the body of the keyboard and each preventing deviation of one of two axes of the button from being orthogonal both to one another and to the direction of depression of the button.
