    Abstract: Concrete compositions, concrete articles and methods of producing the articles are disclosed in which a portion of the cement is replaced by sulfur, preferably plasticized sulfur. Cost saving is thereby achieved and the articles exhibit improved scaling resistance on exposure to acid and on freeze-thaw cycling in a sodium chloride-containing environment.
