  • Publication number: 20250176118
Abstract: A cabinet for electrical equipment is constructed by cutting high-pressure compact laminate to establish a plurality of walls and a roof. The high-pressure compact laminate has a core and a durable outer surface. The roof has a lower portion, an upper portion and support members. The support members are configured to support the upper portion upon the lower portion while defining an air gap between the lower portion and the upper portion. Vent holes are cut in the lower portion to facilitate the venting of warm air from inside the cabinet and the vent holes are covered with a mesh to prevent the ingress of solids and liquids.

  • Patent number: 8549667
Abstract: A functional article of clothing is provided with a pocket preferably on the interior surface of the article of clothing with an access opening and a transverse slot; and a bottle opener disposed within the pocket. The mouth of the opener is oriented with the transverse slot of the pocket so that the mouth of the opener is open to the outside of the pocket when the bottle opener is disposed within said pocket and the opener can engage a bottle without being removed from the pocket. In one embodiment the pocket is formed with a rectangular sheet with a slot that is folded lengthwise over a lower hem and the sides are secured to the clothing by stitching or fasteners. The opener and the pocket may include advertising indicia.

  • Publication number: 20080106016
Abstract: A method of operating a clamp that includes a first clamping jaw, a support element to which the first clamping jaw is attached and a trigger handle pivotably mounted to a clamp body. The method includes actuating the trigger handle causing the first clamping jaw to experience incremental motion and varying the incremental motion as a function of a load encountered by the support element by varying an effective lever arm of the trigger handle by moving a fulcrum point into contact or out of contact with the trigger handle based on the load.

  • Publication number: 20070246874
Abstract: The assembly method of the invention uses a cartridge that is separate from the housing of the device being manufactured. The cartridge is configured such that the location of the various components is defined and the components are easily accessed. The cartridge and its components may be assembled off of the main assembly line. Once the cartridge is assembled, the cartridge and assembled components can be placed in the housing. The assembly of the device can then be completed.

  • Publication number: 20050082728
Abstract: A method of operating a clamp (100) that includes a first clamping jaw (102), a support element (104) to which the first clamping jaw is attached and a trigger handle (118) pivotably mounted to a clamp body (112).

  • Publication number: 20020000748
Abstract: A vehicle for transporting and discharging dumpable material is described which is particularly adapted to allow substantially complete evacuation of the material from the vehicle into a container having raised sides, without the need for either lowering the container below the level of the vehicle or raising the vehicle. The vehicle of the invention includes a tiltable tank container structure, that can be either an enclosed tank or an enclosed or semi-enclosed bed, and that is inclined above the vehicle chassis so its forward end points downward with respect to the vehicle chassis.

  • Patent number: 5775680
Abstract: A pipe clamp includes a clamp body which supports a screw. A jaw is mounted at one end of the screw and an actuator is used to advance the screw with respect to the clamp body in order to clamp or spread a workpiece with respect to a workpiece-engaging element. The clamp body is movable along the length of the pipe, and the screw is inclined with respect to the pipe to increase clearance for the actuator.
