Abstract: Methods, systems comprising one or more computer systems including a combination of hardware and software, and computer program products store, in a database associated with a user account, an inventory of computer applications and associated program data stored on a first mobile device. The method, system, and computer program product receive an indication from the first mobile device that program data associated with a first one of the computer applications stored on the first mobile device is to be stored on a second mobile device and receive an identifier corresponding to the user account from the second mobile device. After receiving the indication from the first mobile device and receiving the identifier from the second mobile device, the method, system, and computer program product transmit the program data associated with the first one of the computer applications to the second mobile device when the first one of the computer applications is compatible with the second mobile device.

Abstract: A system for providing mobile content to a mobile communication device includes a first computing system including one or more servers to provide, via a communications network, a graphical user interface at a second computing system, the graphical user interface (i) enabling the user of the second computing system to edit a digital file to create the mobile content and (ii) prompting and enabling a user of the second computing system to provide a phone number associated with the mobile communication device, the mobile communication device being separate and remote from the first computing system and the second computing system. The first computing system receives, from the second computing system via the communications network, the mobile content and the phone number associated with the mobile communication device.

Abstract: Among other things, generating a dynamic digital data file for transferring to a mobile communication device includes receiving from a user a phone number associated with a mobile communication device. Also, a user selected digital data file is received. Authorization to access the received digital data file is verified. When detected that the received digital data file is verified as an authorized file, the user is able to edit the received digital data file to generate mobile content. A data connection with the mobile communication device associated with the received phone number is also established. Further, one or more operational parameters of the mobile communication device based on the established data connection are determined. The generated mobile content is transcoded into a format compatible to the determined operational parameters, and the transcoded mobile content is delivered to the mobile communication device.

Abstract: A telephone call may be established with a mobile communications device in response to a user dialing an abbreviated dialing code. Content provided external to the mobile communications device associated with the abbreviated dialing code may be identified. Thereafter, a message may be sent to the mobile communications device including a pointer to information complementary to the identified content, wherein the pointer when activated at the mobile communications device, determines one more operational parameters associated with the mobile communications device and causes data associated with the identified content to be transmitted to the mobile communications device in a format compatible with the determined one or more operational parameters. Abstract: Techniques and systems for advertising on mobile devices allow advertisements to be presented on a mobile device during delay periods caused by wireless data communications. An advertisement may initially be stored on a mobile device. Subsequently, when a wireless data communication involving the mobile device is initiated, the advertisement may be presented on the mobile device during at least a portion of the wireless data communication.

The system includes a provisioning manager designed to process a request to provision an abbreviated dialing code. The provisioning manager includes a provisioning server that receives the request and a database of rules, communicatively coupled to the provisioning server, that stores one or more rules associated with the abbreviated dialing code. The system also includes a registry manager, communicatively coupled to the provisioning manager, that determines whether an abbreviated dialing code is registered.
