Abstract: A hard shell case for an assembled fishing rod and reel includes forward and rearward rod cover tubes and a laterally hinged reel case. the forward rod cover extends rearwardly beyond the attached reel of the assembly, with a portion of the forward cover cut away for reel clearance as the cover is installed on the rod. The rearward rod cover slides over the rearward end of the forward rod cover, leaving an exposed area around the reel attachment when the two rod cover portions are installed on the rod. A laterally hinged reel cover is then placed over the rod cover assembly opposite the reel and closed over the reel to complete the installation. The forward rod cover may alternatively be constructed in two telescoping portions to adjust for different rod lengths or disassembled rods, and a pliable reel cover may also be provided.

Abstract: An attachment for an existing sun visor in an automotive vehicle in the nature of a sleeve which is adapted to slidably extend over the sun visor. In this case, the attachment can be shifted longitudinally relative to the sun visor in order to block direct exposure to the sun which is not covered by the existing sun visor of the vehicle. The sleeve type attachment also prevents marring or soiling of the sun visor. The attachment can be made in a permanent form or it can be constructed so as to be a disposal throw-away item. The attachment is designed so that it will block direct exposure to the sun without substantially interfering with the visibility of the driver or a passenger of the vehicle.

The invention is particularly suitable for mounting ducts of relatively large diameter in the engine compartments of motor vehicles.

A rigid cradle of the invention includes means for fixing to the engine unit and means for fixing to elongate interconnection bodies, in particular rigid tubular ducts, hoses, electric cables, optical fibers, and/or bundles of cables. The present invention is mainly applicable to the automotive industry.

Abstract: The present invention relates mainly to interconnection apparatus, in particular hydraulic and pneumatic interconnection apparatus for the various members of a motor vehicle internal combustion engine. According to the invention, rigid elongate conduits are assembled together to form a self-supporting interconnection frame. Advantageously, the conduits are completed and/or extended by hoses where passages are difficult and/or in zones subjected to severe stresses, in particular vibration. Advantageously, the frame includes means for fixing electric cables, optical fiber cables, and/or bundles of cables. The present invention is mainly applicable to the automotive industry.
