  • Publication number: 20060165004
Abstract: Methods and systems in a communications network to look at all of the DACS II output and determine whether a fault exists. If a fault is determined to exist, then an email is sent to the appropriate users notifying them that a problem has occurred. Three computer program commands, for example, are set up to automatically be sent to the network elements at a selected time everyday. The response to the commands is automatically emailed to a specified UNIX server. At 0600, for example, the program automatically kicks off the 3 commands and analyzes the data from the responses to the commands. If the program finds a fault in the command outputs, the program will then post what the fault is on a website. In various embodiments, the software also automatically kicks off an email to a distribution list in the program. The email can go to anybody that requests to be on it. For example, it is sent to an Network Operations Center, where the fault is responded to.

  • Patent number: 5872339
Abstract: A loudspeaker system has a housing forming a first horn, and two low-mid range speakers mounted in the horn throat with front faces in opposition and rear faces in loading and detuning chambers formed by the housing. A third, high-mid speaker, of the same size and type is mounted to a rear of a second horn, integral with a phase plug which has a fourth, high frequency speaker coaxially mounted in a front end to form a high-mid/high frequency speaker assembly which spans the mouth of the first horn in coaxial loading relation with the front faces of the low-mid speakers to balance the rear loading. The rear face of the cone of the third speaker is sealed against the front pressure wave generated by the rear speakers. Both sealing portions and the phase plug are sufficiently close to the cone to avoid resonance therebetween at an upper limit of the operating frequency of the third speaker.

  • Patent number: 4346630
Abstract: Ratchet wrench, having a motor drive and having a member which oscillates angularly, cooperating with a rotor, which intermittently drives a shaft angularly through a pre-determined number of degrees, the shaft being configurated to carry a socket to fit a nut to be turned. The wrench has a head which carries the oscillating member and a ratchet pawl. A manual adjustment is provided to adjust the pawl for driving the shaft in either direction as desired. The ratchet pawl is carried in the rotor member which is mounted in the head and which carries the shaft on which is mounted the socket for fitting on the nut to be turned. All of the parts are held within the head with appropriate friction being applied to the rotor by use of a wave washer.
