Abstract: A connector is provided for coupling with an invasive patient interface for providing respiratory support to a patient. The connector comprises a connector body having: (i) an inlet port couplable with a flow source providing a flow of respiratory gas; (ii) a gases exit port; and (iii) a device port couplable with the invasive patient interface. The connector also has a lumen having a first end and a second end. The connector body defines a gas flow path between the inlet port and both the device port and the lumen first end and the lumen second end is disposed outside the device port. The lumen provides improved CO2 clearance. Some embodiments provide for gas sampling and/or variable expiratory resistance.

Abstract: In some examples, a system includes a processor, a management controller; and a programmable device to provide input/output (I/O) expansion emulation to support communication with a plurality of I/O devices of a subsystem coupled to the system, where the programmable device provides a plurality of virtual registers as part of the I/O expansion emulation, the virtual registers associated with respective I/O devices of the plurality of I/O devices. The processor writes a value to a first virtual register of the plurality of virtual registers to trigger an output event relating to a first I/O device of the plurality of I/O devices at the subsystem. The management controller reads the first virtual register and, in response to the value written to the first virtual register, interact with the subsystem to issue the output event relating to the first I/O device at the subsystem.

Abstract: Methods and systems for automatically verifying email addresses associated with users are disclosed, including receiving and verifying, by an e-commerce platform, a first user email address corresponding to a first user associated with a merchant shop. The e-commerce platform, may receive a second user email address corresponding to a second user to be invited to the merchant shop (or a selection of merchant shops) based on an action of the first user and send an invitation to join the merchant shop to the second user email address, wherein the invitation to join includes a link to the e-commerce platform. The e-commerce platform may receive an activation via the link, which acts to associate the second user with the merchant shop and verify the second user email address.

From this angled orientation, and while the cover remains closed, the track followers are slidable along and out of engagement with the respective front guide tracks to detach the front panel from the side panel, thereby providing front access to the container compartment.

An embodiment of the automatically locking pallet includes a pallet frame including a forklift tine opening, a pallet platform, a locking component movable into and out of a locking arrangement with an interface fitting of a storage assembly when the automatically locking pallet and the storage assembly are stacked, and an actuator operatively connected to the locking component. The actuator may be activated by a forklift tine entering the forklift tine opening to move the locking component out of the locking arrangement.

Abstract: Shipping and storage systems convertible between containers and racks are provided. Collapsible shipping and storage systems are provided, which include pallets with novel locking mechanisms. An embodiment includes a first pallet having an interface fitting and a locking component, a second pallet having a second interface fitting and a second locking component, and structural support members positionable between the pallets for supporting one of the pallets in spaced relation over the other pallet. The structural support members may include frame members and walls interchangeable with one another. The frame members may be combined with the pallets to establish a rack system having an open storage area. The walls also may be combined with the pallets to establish a storage container having a compartment.
