Abstract: The treatment of Type 2 diabetes involving the use of a regimen comprising: (A) one or more glucose-lowering drugs (G-LDs) which function to lower the amount of glucose in the blood, preferably glyburide and metformin; (B) at least one non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) selected from the group consisting of (1) magnesium salicylate tetrahydrate (hereafter “Mg salicylate”); (2) naproxen; and (3) ibuprofen; and (C) acetaminophen. Also, a regimen for use in deterring the development in an individual of a cardiovascular disease or of Alzheimer's and/or for treating individuals who are affected with such diseases, the regimen comprising aforementioned ingredients (B) and (C) above.

An operator on a mobile station such as a plane or car enters a query where previously encoded and stored graphics elements are selected, via a control program on a host computer located on the mobile system, from a mass storage device and displayed with related text information on a local display. Abstract: A replica of a philatelic display comprising a substantially opaque base and an overlying, transparent cover. Attachment zones simulating philatelic materials are formed upon the base, while appropriate cancellation marks are simulated upon the transparent cover so that they in part overlie the attachment zones. This system presents the impression of a collage of stamps bearing related cancellation marks. The display is completed by attaching the actual stamps to the attachment zones which represent them.
