  • Publication number: 20240123881
Abstract: A vehicle seat comprises a controllable deformable material and control apparatus is provided for controlling the state of a controllable deformable material. The control apparatus is configured to generate a signal to cause a control element in proximity to the controllable deformable material to change the characteristic of the controllable deformable material and thereby change the state of the controllable deformable material. The controllable deformable material is controllable to change state from a first state to at least a second state and is controllable to change state from at least the second state to the first state, the controllable deformable material being more deformable per unit force in the second state than in the first state.

  • Patent number: 8439018
Abstract: A heated fuel injector system and controller that includes a temperature sensing means to provide closed-loop control of a heating element heating fuel dispensed by a heated fuel injector. Closed-loop control provides more accurate temperature control of the heating element so that fuel heating is provided as quickly as possible while also protecting the fuel from being boiled and protecting the heated fuel injector from being damaged by excessive temperature. By monitoring how the signal from the temperature sensing means varies over time, fault conditions such as a lack of fuel flow, and fuel ethanol percentage may be detected.

    Assignee: Delphi Technologies, Inc.

  • Publication number: 20030200842
Abstract: A new and improved hand tool device for use in the operation of quarter turn spring loaded self-ejecting or non spring loaded button type fasteners. A device that minimizes damage to costly painted, finished or non finished surface panel or parts due to it's radii and precise fit in the concave groove found in the head of quarter turn fasteners. Comprising of a blade design with specific radii and thickness to fit precisely in the concave grove found in quarter turn spring loaded self-ejecting or non spring loaded button type fasteners.
