  • Publication number: 20250035355
Abstract: A rooftop unit (RTU) includes a refrigerant leak detection assembly. The refrigerant leak detection assembly includes one or more refrigerant leak detectors (e.g., sensors). For example, a first refrigerant leak detector may be positioned in the RTU adjacent to a brazed joint between first and second portions of a fluid conduit, a second refrigerant leak detector may be positioned in a control box of the RTU, and/or a third refrigerant leak detector may be positioned on a blower of the RTU or in an air flow chamber fluidly coupled with a return air inlet of the RTU. Other locations of the refrigerant leak detector(s) are also possible.

  • Publication number: 20170203901
Abstract: An easy open and reclosable package 110 is provided including a package body formed from a flexible film having a heat sealable inner layer, an outer layer, and a pressure sensitive adhesive disposed between the inner layer and the outer layer. A transverse end seam 118, 120 with a heat seal region 122, 124 is disposed across a transverse end of the package body and has at least a portion of a patterned die cut formed in the heat sealable inner layer therein, so as to allow a portion of the inner layer to delaminate and expose a portion of the pressure sensitive adhesive in the heat seal region when the transverse end seam is opened to form a substantially full opening in the transverse end of the package body. Flexible films and methods for fabrication of the flexible films and packages also are provided.

  • Publication number: 20100172604
Abstract: A reclosable container with a resealable, flexible cover portion that is easy to use and a method of manufacturing the same. The reclosable container comprises a container body having a storage space and an opening providing access to the storage space. The container body includes a base portion and a resealable cover portion having an inner layer, an outer layer, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive affixing the inner layer to the outer layer. The inner layer of the resealable cover portion is heat sealed to the base portion about the opening thereby forming a heat-sealed region where the inner layer contacts and is heat sealed to the base portion.
