  • Patent number: 11687393
Abstract: A computer-implemented method comprising: receiving a first signal from a first sensor, the first signal having a first value; receiving a second signal from a second sensor, the second signal having a second value, the first signal and the second signal being measurements of a parameter of a system; receiving a third signal having a third value; determining a first absolute error using the first value, the second value and the third value; and comparing the first absolute error with at least one threshold to determine a signal value.

  • Publication number: 20110083290
Abstract: The aviation cleaning wipes are hand wipes that are impregnated with castor oil. The cleaning wipes may be packaged in perforated rolls or stacks. The package may take the form of a box, packet, tub or the like. Castor oil is basically the sole fluid used to impregnate the wipes, although a fragrance, a preservative, or the like may be added, if desired. The wipes are particularly useful for cleaning hydraulic fluid or other phosphate ester-based materials from the skin.

  • Patent number: 7698897
Abstract: It is known that overshoot in fuel flow rate as a result of compensating for engine heat soak effects can create transient over values in desired thrust parameters. These over values may be displayed and/or utilised in other engine control systems, and although transient may create problems within the engine and apprehension with a user. By adjusting the normally calculated fuel flow rate to a fuel regulator by the introduction of a fuel flow adjustment dependent upon a variable which is related to heat soak effects it is possible to reduce the extent of overshoot as well as the transient time period of that overshoot to ongoing operational state. The variable used may be direct or indirect and will generally utilise a temperature sensor within the engine and/or other engine control procedures which may be extrapolated from such sensor values to provide a variable for heat soak compensation.

  • Patent number: 5267386
Abstract: A method and apparatus for securing a member to a heat softenable material comprising the steps of heating the member to a temperature sufficient to soften the softenable material and driving the member into the material. The material softens from the heat of the member and becomes displaced by the member. Knurling may be added to the member to aid in retention.
