  • Patent number: 6020049
Abstract: A reinforced laminate that is consists of conventional glass mesh, TEFLON mesh, etc. with copper clad to one or both sides and a positive or negative acting photoimageable dielectric material impregnated in the mesh. This photoimageable dielectric material is a substitute for conventional dielectrics like epoxy, polyimides, etc. This laminate construction will allow for via formation using established manufacturing methods for producing vias in printed circuits with minor process variations. This product will eliminate major process steps such as mechanical drilling, laser drilling and plasma etching. It will allow most printed circuit producers the capability of producing complex multilayer circuits that currently produced by relatively few circuit manufacturers. It eliminates processes such as plasma etching and laser processing and other capital-intensive methods that are currently in development or use. A further development as a result of this product allows for producing vias of any shape e.g.

  • Patent number: 5536592
Abstract: The galvanic battery of the present invention supplies the anode and/or cathode from an elongated strip of flexible tape preferably interconnected through a strip of inactive material functioning as a leader for said tape and for separating the tape entering the electrochemically active compartment of the battery housing from spent tape exiting the electrochemically active compartment. The battery is preferably constructed to include a supply reel having a rotatable core upon which said strip of tape is wound in a cylindrical configuration with the inner winding of tape extending from said core and being threaded through said electrochemically active compartment before being connected back into the electrochemically inactive compartment and wound as the outer winding around the core of the supply reel.

  • Patent number: 5207007
Abstract: A set-up tool is provided for use with a working tool, such as a power saw, that works near a surface (18) having a miter slot. The set-up tool includes a dial indicator (6) and mounting members (2, 4) which mount the dial indicator in a measuring position above the surface. One of the mounting members (4) fits into the miter slot on the surface. The dial indicator is moveable with respect to the mounting member (4) that fits into the miter slot. A locking screw (3) is provided for selectively locking the dial indicator in a desired location relative to the mounting member (4).
