  • Patent number: 11959510
Abstract: Provided in this disclosure is a method for manufacturing a customizable holster. Steps are provided of molding inner holster components, including molding internal surfaces that conform to shapes of respective portions of a desired firearm design. Other substeps include molding external surfaces that conform to the shape of portions of an external mating surface of an inner holster. The inner holster components are mated to form an inner holster having an internal contact surface that conforms to the firearm design, to securely receive and retain a respective firearm within the inner holster. An outer holster is molded having an interior defined by an internal mating surface that conforms with the external mating surface of the inner holster. The inner holster is then mated to the outer holster such that the external mating surface of the inner holster is received within the internal mating surface of the outer holster.

  • Publication number: 20240075882
Abstract: A combination step and obstacle side guard for a vehicle has a first hollow housing portion including an outer robust housing which has a top surface step and bottom obstacle guard surface and a side surface. The side surface including outer edges and forming an inset cavity. An automated deployable running board which has a step portion which is stowed in the inset cavity. A drive linkage mechanism is situated within and protected by said hollow portion of said first hollow housing portion for driving the step between a stowed position in the inset cavity and a deployed step position wherein the step portion can be used for stepping into the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 5463480
Abstract: A method and apparatus for processing data representing an image in a first color space suitable for controlling a first image output device. The apparatus comprises a processor (11, 14, 17) for reversibly transforming the image into a perceptual color space defined by lightness, colorfulness and hue components, and for modifying the lightness, colorfulness and hue components of the image in accordance with a predetermined algorithm so that all colors in the image fall within the gamut of a second image output device; and a store for storing data defining the modified and unmodified lightness, colorfulness and hue components.

  • Patent number: 4647963
Abstract: Methods of electronically enhancing one or more color components (C, Y, M) which together represent the chromatic components of a pixel of an image are described. The methods comprise subtracting from each color component respective quantities which when combined correspond to a grey level (4) to generate reduced color components. These reduced color components are then multiplied by a factor and the modified reduced color components are then added back to the subtracted quantities or to the original color components to generate enhanced color components (13,14), whereby the factor is chosen such that the hue of the original pixel is not substantially changed after enhancement. In one method, the magnitude of the maximum reduced color component is determined and a factor is chosen which is related to the determined magnitude. In another method, the color components are ranked in order of magnitude and compared to derive two equivalent color component values.
