    Abstract: The present disclosure is a femoral preparation guide and a kit of surgical components related to the femoral preparation guide. The femoral preparation guide is for use on a condyle of a femur during a surgical procedure in which the condyle receives a femoral condylar implant. The femoral preparation guide includes a posterior portion for fitting over a posterior region of the condyle and a distal portion for fitting over a distal region of the condyle. The distal portion is at an angle relative to the posterior portion. The distal portion includes first and second resections slots for receiving cutting tools that provide two resections of the condyle. The first and second resections slots being at angles relative to each other.

A power management controller is programmed to control output power of the power unit to maintain the energy storage system between a predetermined high voltage set-point and a predetermined low voltage set-point.

    Abstract: A pump for pumping fluids in a filtration system is disclosed. The pump has a thrust balancing means to reduce axial loads on motor bearings of the pump during operation of the pump. A drive system of the pump includes an elongate flexible shaft interconnecting a drive shaft and an impeller shaft. The elongate flexible shaft bends and twists to accommodate misalignment during assembly of the drive system. A seal assembly is provided for sealing about a drive shaft. The seal assembly is evacuated to prevent pumped fluid from contaminating fluids in the motor. A concentric coupling and method for making the same are taught which include a cylindrical block which is concentrically bored and cut into an annular L-shaped segment having an L-shaped notch and a semi-cylindrical mating segment which is received into the notch. The coupling concentrically joins a pair of shafts together.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a method of inhibiting the attack by perchloroethylene on copper and organic polymers subject to said attack, such as parylene, by adding to perchloroethylene about 20 to about 1000 ppm of a stabilizer having the general formula ##STR1## The preferred concentration of the stabilizer is about 40 to about 500 ppm. Also disclosed is an electrical apparatus containing copper or organic polymer subject to attack by perchloroethylene and perchloroethylene containing the stabilizer.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a method of making an insulated conductor by coating a conductor with a triazole and applying the insulation over the triazole coating. The triazole is preferably benzyltriazole or tolyltriazole. It can be applied dissolving the triazole in water, immersing the conductor in the solution and evaporating the water. The invention is particularly useful with epoxy powder coatings on copper conductors which are used in perchloroethylene containing insulating fluid.
