  • Patent number: 8801308
Abstract: A printing apparatus includes a media path within a body of the printing apparatus. The media path moves sheets of media through the body of the printing apparatus. A marking engine is also within the body of the printing apparatus. The media path supplies the printing media to the marking engine. A processor is within the body of the printing apparatus. The processor is operatively connected to the marking engine, and the processor controls actions of the marking engine. Sensors are within the body of the printing apparatus. The sensors are operatively connected to the processor, and the sensors are positioned along the media path. The sensors detect locations and conditions of the sheets of media as the sheets of media travel along the media path. The sensors have a first clip shape. Further, clip connectors are located within the body of the printing apparatus. The clip connectors are connected to the sensors. Additionally, light structures are connected to the clip connectors.

  • Patent number: 8351057
Abstract: An apparatus comprises a housing and at least one functional component operating on power from an external power source. The functional component is connectable to the housing. In addition, a graphic user interface assembly is connectable to the housing. The graphic user interface assembly comprises a dedicated power supply used exclusively by the graphic user interface assembly. The graphic user interface assembly displays instructions explaining how to connect the functional component and the graphic user interface assembly to the housing prior to when the functional component is connected to the external power source.

  • Patent number: 4332484
Abstract: A manure agitation system directed to an open top tank for storage of manure slurry. A gate valve is located in the floor of the tank which can be opened from outside the tank to draw manure slurry from the inside of the tank through a piping system and pump assembly and flow it under pressure through the piping system to an agitator nozzle for substantially high pressure discharge and located inside the tank generally centrally of the floor of the tank and which can be rotated to different positions from outside the tank. A pair of first and second flow control valves are opened to permit the flow of the manure slurry as described and a third control valve is then in closed position.

  • Patent number: 4103837
Abstract: A core adapted to mount on and lock to the take-up spindle of a loom or textile weaving machine, the core having an elongated hollow configuration defined by a cylindrical wall. Aligned inwardly directed depressions at the opposed end portions of the core form inwardly directed keying protrusions which engage within an elongated keyway defined within the spindle. The protrusions are formed by mounting mandrels within the opposed ends of the core, heating the core end portions and deforming the heated end portions by means of pressure applying shoes and opposed complementary depressions within the mandrels.
