  • Patent number: 11953101
Abstract: A spool valve for controlling the flow of a fluid into a reciprocating piston cylinder. A spool is slideably inserted into an outer casing, the spool valve having a first and a second non-waisted end portions and having a waisted middle portion. The casing has an intake port and output port for fluids entering and exiting the casing. A first non-waisted end portion covers the intake port during a first valve-closed event as the spool slides in one direction within the casing. The waisted middle portion is sufficiently wide to uncover both the intake port and the output port during a valve-open event as the spool slides in one direction within the casing. A second non-waisted end portion covers the output port during a second valve-closed event as the spool slides in the same one direction within the casing.

  • Publication number: 20220313956
Abstract: A tool for manipulating a catheter interface protection device includes a base, a first arm extending from the base, and a second arm extending from the base. The first arm includes an outwardly projecting first hook configured to engage a first vent of a catheter interface protection device. The second arm includes an outwardly projecting second hook configured to engage a second vent of the catheter interface protection device. A method of manipulating a catheter interface protection device includes positioning the base around the catheter interface protection device so that the first arm is on a first side of a slot of the catheter interface protection device and the second arm on a second side of the slot of the catheter interface protection device opposite the first side, and bending the catheter interface protection device from the slot towards and around the first hook to create an opening.

  • Patent number: 10065446
Abstract: A folder and method of making a panel with a plurality of foldable tab extensions. The extensions include first and second regions extending away from the panel, and having scored fold lines therebetween. The uppermost tab region has a releasable adhesive as does a portion of the panel. The panel has a releasable coating or surface such when the tab extensions are folded, either at the first or second region along the fold lines, adhesive on the second region will mate with surface on the panel. To reduce memory effect at the fold, the score lines can be triple scored by parallel two or three parallel score lines. The central score line can be shallower than the parallel scores on either side thereof.

  • Patent number: 9072367
Abstract: A camp hammock in which the fabric of the hammock bed is cut in such a way that once the hammock is suspended between to points it allows areas of the diagonal axis of the hammock, where the occupants head and lower legs will be positioned, to hang lower than the opposing diagonal axis which crosses under the occupants lower torso. Once the fabric gives under the torso, the legs are now inline. This hammock can also be enclosed with a top enclosure to trap body heat and a bed liner that will hold an insulating pad with side pockets to hold clothing that will act to retain heat while camping in cold temperatures. This hammock may also have a gear loft attached to the ridgeline seam for storing gear. A rain fly with an adjustable peak and end walls with rain sleeves protects the hammock in wet weather.
