  • Publication number: 20070079999
Abstract: A motorized wheelbarrow of traditional frame design employing a lightweight and small displacement engine to drive the front wheel of the wheelbarrow. A drive mechanism including a centrifugal clutch, enclosed gear reduction box and chain is operably linked to a sprocket on the wheel shaft and to a sprocket on the output shaft of the gear reduction box. The combination of the drive train components allows the operator to power the wheelbarrow at variable speeds via a single finger throttle trigger that links the engine and the user. This wheelbarrow maintains the attributes of the front mounted single-wheel wheelbarrow by having the engine and drive mechanism mounted behind the drive wheel and directly under the load carrying bucket.

  • Patent number: 4715601
Abstract: There is disclosed a design concept for a set of golf club irons including at least a first and a second club, wherein each club comprises a club head and a shaft. Each club head of the set includes a hosel portion to which the shaft is attached and a blade portion, with the blade portion including a substantially planar face for striking a golf ball and a back portion opposite said planar face. As with all iron clubs the substantially planar faces on the respective club heads of the set are disposed at varying angles with respect to a vertical datum line to provide progressive degrees of loft. In one preferred form the back portions of each club head of the set include a cavity formed therein, with the volume of the cavities in said clubs decreasing from the lower lofted clubs of said set to the higher lofted clubs.

  • Patent number: 4597577
Abstract: A golf club assembly system is provided for a golf club including, a shaft having a grip at one end and an opposite free end, and a club head having a hosel affixed to the shaft by a bonding agent, the grip preferably having indicia for alignment with a predetermined portion of the club head. The assembly system comprises: a projecting pin on either the hosel or the shaft free end, and a slot on the other of said hosel or shaft free end for receiving the pin. The slot includes a circumferential stop defining a maximum relative rotational movement in one direction between the shaft and head, and said slot also defining the axial position of the club head on the shaft. The pin and the slot are located on the shaft and hosel for causing the intended alignment of the shaft and for the grip indicia with the intended portion of the club head when the pin is fully advanced with respect to the slot means in both the axial and circumferential directions.
