  • Patent number: 10893943
Abstract: A method and apparatus for applying a bone attachment coating to a prosthetic component, the bone attachment coating being formed from a plurality of particles applied to a surface of the prosthetic component. The method comprising: locally exciting the particles so as to increase the kinetic and/or thermal energy of the particles; and applying pressure to the particles by virtue of a press arranged so as to press the particles against the surface of the prosthetic component at an interface between the press and the prosthetic component. The kinetic and/or thermal energy of the particles causes localised heating of the component such that the particles may be embedded into the surface of the prosthetic component.

  • Patent number: 10102160
Abstract: A data processing system includes an interrupt controller having a priority level arbitrator and trigger circuitry. The priority level arbitrator and the trigger circuitry operate in parallel to process interrupt signals received by an interrupt signal receiver. The trigger circuitry generates a trigger signal initiating interrupt processing before the priority level arbitrator has completed its arbitration determination at an arbitration-completed time. If the interrupt processing triggered by the trigger signal was inappropriate, then is terminated once the result of the arbitration is known after the arbitration-completed time.

  • Patent number: 9453489
Abstract: A system and method for controlling a fuel supply system of an engine is disclosed in which an engine driven high pressure fuel pump is operated whenever possible at one of an optimum demand level providing optimum pump efficiency for the current engine speed or at a zero demand level to reduce the fuel used by the engine to drive the high pressure fuel pump. The operating mode used is dependent upon at least one of the amount of fuel currently stored in a high pressure fuel accumulator and whether a current fuel demand Fd exceeds an optimum quantity Po of fuel that can be provided by the high pressure fuel pump when operating at the current engine speed.

  • Patent number: 9430421
Abstract: An interrupt controller includes a priority level arbitrator (8) including multiple stages. The stages include at least one stage comprising a plurality of interrupt selectors formed of a multiplexer (14) for selecting between a pair of potentially concurrently asserted interrupt signals in dependence upon selection data. The selection data is determined in advance by a priority level comparator (12) using priority level data associated with the respective interrupt signals.

  • Publication number: 20150220465
Abstract: A data processing system 2 includes an interrupt controller having a priority level arbitrator 10 and trigger circuitry 12. • Publication number: 20090282049
Abstract: Systems and methods for customs broking are discussed. The computer implemented method comprises receiving a first data group from a first user, determining a second data group based on the first data group, the second data group configured to identify data elements, receiving at least some of the data elements from the first user, receiving a third data group from a second user, and based on the reception of data elements received from the first user, receiving data elements from the second user. The first data group comprises information for defining a transaction of one or more goods. The data elements are used for a customs classification of the one or more goods. The third data group comprising information for further defining the transaction of the one or more goods.

  • Patent number: 5021758
Abstract: A circuit arrangement which includes a switched inductor comprises a spiral inductor and a MESFET coupled in parallel for switching the spiral inductor in and out of a circuit. The MESFET has at least two gates, at least one of which and at least one section of at least one turn of the spiral inductor, are all mounted adjacent to one another on an active mesa.
