Patent number: 9409300Abstract: An open cutter for a foil type shaver includes a plurality of arch-shaped cutting strips formed by bending a metal plate formed with alternating parallel slots and cutting strips. A plurality of spaced apart protruding cutting edges having a first acute cutting angle is formed along two opposite sides of the cutting strips. A plurality of recessed cutting edges having a second acute cutting angle is formed between the plurality of protruding cutting edges. The protruding cutting edges of one cutting strip are facing the recessed cutting edges of an adjacent cutting strip, thereby generating continuous hair-lifting and hair-cutting actions as the open cutter is driven in oscillating directions by a motor. A method for fabricating the open cutter is also disclosed.Type: GrantFiled: September 21, 2015Date of Patent: August 9, 2016Assignee: RAYMOND INDUSTRIAL LIMITEDInventors: Ying Man John Wong, Kwok Yung Anthony Law

Patent number: 8883083Abstract: The present invention is an air cleaner that uses molecular sieves, such as zeolite or other microporous/nanoporous crystalline materials with pore sizes ranging from 4 ? to 20 ?, as a filter to remove contaminant gas. The contaminants are adsorbed into the porous material along with ions clusters, or any other oxidant generated by a generating device within the system. The contaminant gas is then catalytically decomposed in the confined space of the pore. In one embodiment, transition metal is incorporated into the porous material, and a heater is installed to substitute or accompany the oxidant-generating device. When the heater is turned on, the contaminant is decomposed within the pores of the materials with the transition metals acting as catalysts. Ultimately, the non-harmful byproducts are the small sized water molecutes and carbon dioxide molecules. Growth of bacteria is also suppressed under a clean and dry condition.Type: GrantFiled: April 29, 2002Date of Patent: November 11, 2014Assignee: RHT LimitedInventors: Kwok Yung Anthony Law, Yu Hang Christopher Chao, Sui Chun Law, Wan Chung Lam

Patent number: 8348105Abstract: A foam dispensing device creates and dispenses foam from a source of liquid. The device employs a mixing chamber upstream of a unit of porous material and an outlet. When activated, a single motor powers a liquid pump and an air pump. The liquid pump transports liquid from a source to the mixing chamber. The air pump propels air through the mixing chamber wherein the air becomes pressurized. The liquid and air mix within in the mixing chamber. The liquid-air mixture is propelled through the porous material by the flow of air, creating a foam that is dispensed from the outlet.Type: GrantFiled: August 20, 2009Date of Patent: January 8, 2013Assignee: Raymond Industrial LimitedInventors: Ying Man John Wong, Kwok Yung Anthony Law
