  • Patent number: 12644592
Abstract: The present technology is generally directed to appliance hubs and related systems and methods. In some embodiments, an appliance hub includes a frame assembly and one or more panel assemblies mounted thereto. Individual panels of the panel assemblies can be removably coupled to the frame. At least some of the panels can include one or more functional components, such as one lighting elements, acoustic controls, speakers, vents, mechanical/electrical/plumbing (“MEP”) components, and/or other devices. Accordingly, the frame assembly can be used to manufacture many differently configured appliance hubs with different arrangements of panels and devices positioned thereon. Further, the ability to remove or partially remove individual panels of the appliance hubs after the appliance hub is installed in a ceiling or other upper portion of a room allows for maintenance of existing devices of the appliance hub and/or replacement of devices or the panels themselves.
