  • Publication number: 20240094781
Abstract: One variation of a modular keyboard system includes a chassis; a keyboard module; and a trackpad module. The chassis includes a controller and an input deck. The input deck includes an array of couplers, each coupler in the array of couplers including a magnetic element and an electronic communication port. The keyboard module includes a first connector configured electronically and magnetically couple a first coupler, in the array of couplers, to transiently retain the keyboard module in a first configuration spanning an upper region of the input deck and transmit electrical signals from a set of keys to the controller. The trackpad module includes a second connector configured to electronically and magnetically couple a second coupler, in the array of couplers, to transiently retain the trackpad module in a second configuration spanning a lower region of the input deck and transmit electrical signals from a touch sensor to the controller.

  • Publication number: 20240087699
Abstract: Various of the disclosed embodiments provide Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) for reviewing prior surgical procedures. Specifically, the GUI may allow a user, such as surgeon, to review sensor data, including video data, acquired during various of the surgeon's past surgical procedures. Some sensor data may be organized into metrics referred to herein as objective performance indicators (OPIs). Similarly, procedures may be discretized into specific tasks. By organizing and presenting data in OPI form at the task level, the GUI may facilitate efficient and coordinated review of the surgeon's progress over time across multiple procedures. In some embodiments, corresponding data from expert surgeons may also presented in the interface so that the user may gauge the surgeon's relative performance.

  • Publication number: 20240072174
Abstract: A variety of applications can include an apparatus having an electronic device including a number of transistors in a pair-wise arrangement that can address a floating body effect associated with the type of transistor implemented in the pair-wise arrangement. The transistors can be structured as thin film transistors having one-gate separated by a gate dielectric from a vertical channel structure. The pair-wise arrangement can include a conductive shield between a channel structure of a transistor of the pair and a channel structure of the other transistor of the other pair. A conductive body can be located below the conductive shield and shorted to the conductive shield, where the conductive body contacts the channel structures of the transistors of the pair-wise arrangement. The conductive shield can be coupled to node to be set at a constant voltage in operation.

  • Patent number: 11912304
Abstract: An autonomous mobile device (AMD) moves in a physical space and uses a dock located at a first pose. Sometimes a user may move the dock. To determine whether the dock has moved, the AMD compares first pose data that was previously obtained while at the dock in the first pose to second pose data, such as after a restart or after leaving the dock. If a difference between the first pose and the second pose is greater than a threshold, the dock has moved. The pose data may be determined using a simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) algorithm to process images from cameras on the AMD. Transform data that relates coordinates of the second pose to coordinates of the first pose may be determined. If the dock is used as an origin for a map of the physical space, the transform data may be used to update the map.

  • Patent number: 11366966
Abstract: Methods, and systems for named entity recognition and disambiguation. One of the methods includes: receiving a document; extracting a plurality of mentions within the document; clustering the plurality of mentions to produce at least one cluster; identifying a plurality of candidate entities for the cluster; pairing each candidate entity and the cluster to create a plurality of candidate entity-cluster pairings; generating features for each candidate entity-cluster pairing; and selecting an entity, from the plurality of candidate entities, for the cluster based at least in part on features of a candidate entity pairing.

  • Publication number: 20090306454
Abstract: Devices, systems and methods are provided for directly stimulating tissues, particularly muscle tissues, to modulate muscle contractions (i.e. provide reanimation of the muscle or to suppress undesired muscle contractions). Reanimation of muscles may be desired when damage to the brain, nervous system or neuromuscular junctions have occurred, causing a muscle tissue to lack sufficient motor control. Suppression of muscle contractions may be desired in situations of pathologically hyperactive muscles, such as in conditions of muscle spasm (e.g. blepharospasm and hemifacial spasm) or muscle dystonia. Direct stimulation is achieved by delivering a chemical agent directly to the muscle tissue, particularly the motor end plate, bypassing the nerves and neuromuscular junctions which may be damaged or diseased. Implanted hybrid chemical and electromagnetic stimulation devices can modulate muscle contraction in response to signals from a controller.

  • Patent number: 6875709
Abstract: A method and apparatus for curing and modifying a low k dielectric layer in an interconnect structure is disclosed. A spin-on low k dielectric layer which includes an organic silsesquioxane, polyarylether, bisbenzocyclobuene, or SiLK is spin coated on a substrate. The substrate is placed in a process chamber in a supercritical CO2 system and is treated at a temperature between 30° C. and 150° C. and at a pressure from 70 to 700 atmospheres. A co-solvent such as CF3—X or F—X is added that selectively replaces C—CH3 bonds with C—CF3 or C—F bonds. Alternatively, H2O2 is employed as co-solvent to replace a halogen in a C—Z bond where Z=F, Cl, or Br with an hydroxyl group. Two co-solvents may be combined with CO2 for more flexibility. The cured dielectric layer has improved properties that include better adhesion, lower k value, increased hardness, and a higher elastic modulus.
