The network component selects one electronic pull-tab ticket and transmits that ticket to the gaming device. The gaming device displays an image associated with the electronic pull-tab ticket at the display area. The gaming device performs a screen shift action when the pre-reveal value is a non-zero value. The screen shift action performed corresponds to the electronic pull-tab ticket pre-reveal value that includes reveal of at least one game symbol.
