  • Publication number: 20100226820
Abstract: The present invention overcomes the difficulties in the sterilization and delivery of viscous, multi-component compositions that require pre-mixing prior to usage by disclosing a sterile, multi-component, ready-to-use product wherein each component is sterilized independently and then assembled into a sterilized delivery kit. In certain preferred embodiments of the present invention, a sterile, polymerizable system is provided that comprises a plurality of sterile polymerizable monomers, said monomers having been sterilized by passing them through a filter; at least one sterile filler which has been exposed to conditions effective to render said filler sterile, and the sterile monomers and the sterile filler being blended together to form at least one substantially homogeneous blend contained within a sterile delivery vessel.
    Type: Application
    Filed: May 18, 2010
    Publication date: September 9, 2010
Inventors: Vasanth Prabhu, Jeffrey J. Wicklund, Erik M. Erbe, Anthony M. Wilkes

  • Patent number: 5893116
Abstract: A Replication and Synchronization Engine (RSE) provides a user of a mobile computer with a consistent namespace of resources available to a network despite the connection status of the computer. The specifications (names) of the resources as viewed by the user when the computer is connected to the network are identical to the names as viewed by the user when the computer is disconnected from the network. RSE provides such a consistent namespace by maintaining complete, local replicas of a user-selected subset of these resources at the mobile computer, along with local "name-only" representations of the remaining resources. The resources maintained by RSE may include any network resource, such as a server, volume, directory, file, printer queue and other object, that the mobile computer can access.
