Abstract: An inflatable splint can include a sleeve shaped to conform to a specific human body part and a plurality of inflatable chambers disposed on the sleeve. The sleeve, in cooperation with the plurality of chambers in an inflated condition, can be contoured to maintain the specific human body part in a desired position. A method of using an inflatable splint includes admitting a body part into a sleeve of the inflatable splint and positioning the sleeve around the body part. One or more of the plurality of air chambers are selectively inflated such that the flexible sleeve in cooperation with the plurality of chambers in inflated condition is contoured and positioned to maintain the specific human body part in a desired position.

Abstract: A brush for biopsy may include a sheath and a shaft extending through a cavity of the sheath, where the shaft is moveable relative to the sheath. The brush may include a cap located at a distal end of the shaft, where the cap is configured to seal a distal end of the sheath. The brush may further include a set of bristles and at least two members attached to the shaft at locations proximal to the cap, where the at least two members are configured to seal the cavity when located within the sheath. A first member of the at least two members may be attached to the shaft at a location distal to the set of bristles, and a second member of the at least two members may be attached to the shaft at a location proximal to the set of bristles.

Abstract: A vacuum pad may include a first layer, a top layer that at least partially forms a top surface of the vacuum pad, a plurality of holes extending through the top layer into an interior space located between at least a portion of the first layer and at least a portion of the top layer, an outlet tube in fluid communication with the interior space, a raised barrier that surrounds the plurality of holes, a plurality of dividers located in the interior space that extend along the first layer from a first end of the respective divider located adjacent to the outlet tube, and at least one spacer located in the interior space that has a different shape than the plurality of dividers. The vacuum pad may include at least one channel and at least one collection area located in the interior space.

Abstract: An aromatherapy product may have an aromatherapy oil configured for releasing an aroma when exposed to an outside environment. The aromatherapy product also may include a carrier, the carrier having an absorption portion for receiving a predetermined amount of the aromatherapy oil, where the absorption portion includes a wood-based fabric. The wood-based fabric may include, and in some cases may consist of, bamboo. The aromatherapy product may be individually packaged.
