Abstract: A network apparatus system and method of use adapted for viewing, illustrating, consulting and collaborating on medical images and saving images and illustrations in acceptable DICOM format. Specifically, a Consultant Client or a plurality of Consultant Clients having the capability to view still and streaming video medical images, then illustrating over those images with the ability to save those images. Also a Collaborator Client, a person user or a plurality of Collaborator Clients having the ability to remotely view streaming or still medical images and illustrating over those images. The Collaborator Clients can draw, telestrate and annotate over those images with the ability to save those images. The Collaborator Client also has the ability to work in partnership with other Collaborator Clients, each Collaborator Client viewing the same medical image and each illustrating on the image and each being able to view all users illustrations and medical image simultaneously.

Abstract: An apparatus for displaying and recording medical images and producing by sketching or drawing line segments creating an electronic virtual road map of a patient's anatomy for use by a physician during an intra-body medical procedure. The apparatus includes among its essential elements, an interventional device providing real time images of body structure of the patient; a medical image acquisition system computer adapted for acquisition of a plurality of medical imaging video signals wherein signals are acquired from a transmitting medical device in the medical device's native resolution having a central processing unit, a display, at least one input device, a storage device, an output device wherein the medical image is displayed on the display; and an image generating device, wherein physician uses the input device to sketch or draw line segments creating virtual road map of patient's anatomy over the medical image.

Abstract: An apparatus and method of acquiring video data from a source, having a source transmission going to a home base computer, a remote computer or image/audio receiving device. The home base computer receiving, compressing, converting the acquired data from a video format to a digital image format, transmitting the data to a remote system in real time, querying a consulting physician, the consulting physician reviewing the real time data and communicating back to the home base computer via a voice conversation. The home base computer storing and archiving data. The home base computer having the capability of transmitting the video signal from medical imaging devices at their native resolutions using real time, instantaneously, compressing and transmitting over Internet protocol, IP, interfaces at diagnostic quality or near diagnostic quality. The home system transmitting a video stream in real time as well as a real time audio stream.
