Publication number: 20070298218Abstract: A fungi resistant asphalt is combined with a base sheet to form a fungi resistant asphalt containing sheet material. Typically, the base sheet is a fibrous base sheet that, by itself, may or may not be fungi resistant. The fungi resistant asphalt is at least partially absorbed by the base sheet to form the fungi resistant asphalt containing sheet material and typically forms one or both major surfaces of the fungi resistant asphalt containing sheet material.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 17, 2006Publication date: December 27, 2007Inventors: Ralph Fay, Angela Bratsch, Blake Bogrett, Anthony Moore

Publication number: 20070110939Abstract: A kraft paper sheet contains and/or is coated with a fungi growth-inhibiting agent that causes the kraft paper sheet to be fungi growth resistant. The kraft paper sheet alone or as part of a layered sheet material is used as a central field portion of facings for various faced building insulation assemblies. The facings, as part of an insulation assembly, are fungi growth resistant; may be perforated to provide the facing with a selected water vapor permeance; and/or may include a bonding layer, such as a heat activated bonding layer, that bonds the facing to an insulation layer of the assembly.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 28, 2006Publication date: May 17, 2007Inventors: Ralph Fay, Anthony Moore, Timothy Logsdon, Blake Bogrett

Publication number: 20070059205Abstract: An automated micro-well plate handling device for removing a micro-well plate from within a vertically stacked plurality of micro-well plates and transferring the removable micro-well plate to a receiving area. A vertical storage device for storing the vertically stacked plurality of micro-well plates creates a vertical clearance space between the vertically stacked micro-well plates. A shovel slides into the vertical clearance space underneath the micro-well plate that is being removed. The shovel then removes the micro-well plate from the vertical storage device and places the micro-well plate at a transfer station. A gripper then grabs the micro-well plate from the transfer station and transfers the micro-well plate to a receiving area. In a preferred embodiment, the automated micro-well plate handling device is controlled via a computer network.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 12, 2005Publication date: March 15, 2007Inventors: Brian Ganz, Nicholas Pratte, Anthony Moore, Chinapond Songchan

Publication number: 20060154115Abstract: A multi-layer reflective insulation system for walls, ceilings, floors, roofs and similar applications includes a sheet of multi-layer reflective insulation from a roll product. The sheet of multi-layer reflective insulation is a laminate that includes first and second pliable sheet layers with reflective major surfaces and a separation media, intermediate opposed major surfaces of the first and second pliable sheet layers, that holds the first and second pliable sheet layers in a spaced apart relationship relative to each other. The separation media creates air space between the opposed major surfaces of the first and second pliable sheet layers for the enhanced reflection of incident radiation and the emission of radiation by a reflective surface of the product.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 10, 2005Publication date: July 13, 2006Inventors: Thomas Fellinger, Craig Sakata, Jeffrey Reinsma, John Smith, N. Fast, Marcus Bianchi, Anthony Moore

Publication number: 20060015528Abstract: A generic nullable type that is capable of representing null values for reference, value, and other types in a uniform manner is described. The nullable generic type includes at least two portions: a container portion and a Boolean member portion. The container portion can hold other objects of other types, including both reference and value types. The Boolean member portion indicates whether the type held by the container has a value or not. Specifically, when the Boolean member is true, the values of the general type held by the container are valid. When the Boolean member is false, the values of the general type are invalid or undefined to represent an unspecified or null condition. Stack memory usage for the nullable type, a comparison of two objects of the nullable type, and an example database manipulation using the nullable type are also described.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 14, 2004Publication date: January 19, 2006Applicant: Microsoft CorporationInventors: Anders Hejlsberg, Anthony Moore, Brian Grunkemeyer, Donald Box, Gang Peng, Krzysztof Cwalina

Publication number: 20050223668Abstract: A faced fibrous insulation assembly includes: a fibrous insulation blanket whose fibers, preferably, are bonded together with a formaldehyde free binder; a facing formed by a kraft paper sheet material; and an asphalt coating layer on the inner surface of the facing that bonds the facing to the fibrous insulation blanket. The asphalt coating layer contains an odor-reducing additive in an amount sufficient to substantially eliminate odor that would otherwise be emitted by the asphalt coating layer without adversely affecting the adherent qualities of the asphalt coating layer. Preferably, the facing and the asphalt coating layer are fungi growth resistant.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 25, 2004Publication date: October 13, 2005Inventors: Gerald Thompson, Anthony Moore, Timothy Logsdon, Ralph Fay
