  • Patent number: 11578502
Abstract: A panel-post connector plate 16 for connecting a fence post 12 to an adjacent fence panel 14. The panel-post connector plate 16 comprises a plate body 84 having a post-receiving aperture 86 for receiving at least part of the fence post 12 therethrough, and a fastener receiving aperture 92 for receiving a fastener to attach the plate body 84 to a panel-body of the adjacent fence panel 14. A header-rail engagement member 94 is at or adjacent to the plate body 84, the header-rail engagement member 94 receivable in the header rail 26 of the adjacent fence panel 14. A temporary rail support device, a gravel-board retaining element, a fence post and a fence are also described.

  • Patent number: 11566456
Abstract: A lock assembly comprising a throw bolt, a bolt holder and a bolt keeper. The bolt keeper comprises a buffer and a biasing mechanism, configured such that when the lock assembly is arranged as in use, and the throw bolt is in the locking position, the buffer will space the throw bolt apart from a surface to which the bolt keeper is attached; and the biasing mechanism will bear on the bolt and bias it against the buffer.

  • Publication number: 20220220767
Abstract: A fence-post system (10) comprising a first fence post (12) and a second fence post (14). The first and second fence posts (12, 14) are formed from folded sheets of metal of different thicknesses and have different front flange widths (FW1, FW2). A first fence post (12) has a wider front flange width (FW1) and a narrower thickness (T1) than the second fence post (14). The difference in material provided by the difference in the front flange width (FW1) equates or substantially equates to the difference in material provided by the thickness. Thus, the linear mass densities of the fence posts (12, 14) are similar or identical.
